Math ain't mathing, bro. Last year's revenues were £19B. If we add £20B SMR revenues, we'll be looking at £30-40 per share, as the revenues will be more than double (assuming a reasonable market).

Gotcha! As far as I know, the UltraFan is set to be tested in different variants in 2028 with hopes to get into exploitation in the 2030s. I've also read that the CFM Leap has had some problems, so if the UltraFan is successful, RR will definitely get into the narrow-body market.

Sadly, the A320neo does not use RR engines, but CFM ones.

Dropping the disrupted flights refund. Airlines will get more money, but people will be more cautious (US related).

I doubt there's going to be a defense payout deferral, given the world situation. The UK admitted - they're late to the arming up party, and will strive to make it ASAP.

SMR - the government payments are just a kick-off for R&D and production. The real money will be made in the late 2020s to early 2030s, as we know Tufan said R-R SMR will be profitable and cash flow positive by 2030.

For 2024, net revenues are as follow:

-Rolls-Royce - $2.6B with 8.2B shares outstanding

-Tesla - $7B with 3.2B shares outstanding

Tesla trades at $350. Rolls at $15.

If these two were bakeries, I'd definitely buy Rolls for 15$, despite the smaller net earnings.

I don't know, Cev. I see reasoning in Tim's comments, as you have Tesla with decreasing sales and 2.5 times the earnings, but trades at 35-ish times the share price of Rolls-Royce ($350 to $15). However, I can see you openly promoting other stocks a lot. So, let Tim be.

I haven't mentioned anything about Apple. They're in their own bracket. I agreed to him that Rolls-Royce is undervalued given the balance sheet, products and innovations happening. Tesla is a bubble, driven by hype, with decreasing sales in the last 3 years. Tesla has a net profit of $7B for 2024. Rolls-Royce has $2.5B, projected to double in the next 3 years and who knows how much when the UltraFan enters the narrow-body market, and the SMRs kick in.

Tesla's SP is $350. RR is barely $15. Using the Buffet method, I know which company I prefer.

Hey Tim, I absolutely agree with you. Rolls-Royce is extremely underrated when taking into consideration the products and innovations the company provides. Tesla's market cap is more than the 10 next automakers in the world, because it somehow classifies as a "tech company", but Elon still won't make use of the LIDAR technology, so his cars won't crash on the highway. The same applies about Facebook.

It's unfathomable how companies like OKLO who got their NRC application rejected and hasn't filed in another one in the last 3 years, because they're incompetent, is trading at the $70 range. Their CEO is on the TV blabbering about how they'll have their first SMR operational in 2027. Company with 0 revenues, constantly losing cash.

And on the other hand we got Royce's, top 2 widebody aircraft engines manufacturer, with all their operational segments - power systems, defense, actual nuclear projects (submarines). The UltraFan supposedly the the best engine on the market to enter the narrowbodies. Deals with Microsoft, Equinix and the rest. All of this and the company is priced at barely $15 a share? Sounds like a bargain.

Well, Rolls-Royce already is set to play a vital role in the Equinix deal in the Netherlands. Equinix are one of the biggest data center companies. Gotta say I wish Amazon, Microsoft and Google would express more interest.

I think that If you've started selling during the £2 - £11 range, you've been doing it wrong. Nothing bad in taking some profits, but do you really think £11 is the absolute ceiling? I'm not talking of a 0.50p pullback.
