I noted this on the PVR board, so will do similar here. Commercial gas production at Barryroe is very much on the cards. I spoke with JOS recently, he previously worked with Marathon Oil who operated Kinsale Head - He knows the area well. To paraphrase- The nearby existing gas infrastructure is something they are currently looking at.

Doesn't take a genius to work out that this company is now being careful managed by the majority shareholders. BH Capital and LC Capital. 51% Once news flow around rig contracts, drill dates, infrastructure and exploration upside is announced what price do you think our 34MMBOE fully funded appraisal program will be worth? The current price on offer is reflective of the delay and scepticism around the programme going ahead. There within lies the opportunity IMO. The low market cap and lack of liquidity currently is likely to be a deterrent to any institutional investors, I can see that changing once firm dates are in place.
With working capital set at 35k a month any funding ( through the sole broker who hold 21% of the company) will be minimal and well supported. I suspect that any raise will be in the 3/4p range. I have it in on good authority key Barryroe project members are currently in China. My guess is finalising rig contracts and signatures. GLA
I noticed CORO being pumped on twitter over the past few weeks, but why has the SP continued to fall? Word of caution, the political landscape is shifting in Malaysia. CORO and Petronas may soon find themselves with no claim on acreage in Sarawak. https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/2019/01/19/after-suit-against-kelantan-sarawak-party-looks-forward-to-action-against-p/1714418
661 million shares in issue, 51% held by by our sole broker BH Capital and ex board member Steven Lamp, LC Capital. ( 51% -worth thinking about?) A further 14% held by directors and institutions. So, 231 million shares available, not that many for Joe soap - and PR hasn't even started yet. Hoping tuck a few more of these away over the coming days. Page 9 - gives a clear view on the value disconnect. https://www.lansdowneoilandgas.com/portfolio-item/logp-corporate-presentation/
Look at UPL UOG AAOG and JOG, all drills delayed by over 3 months last year. It's the nature of the game! IMO APEC, negotiated a strong deal benefiting all parties, with 50% ownership of Barryroe and the potential for a further 10% unrisked stake in PVR, conciderable time and effort spent in Beijing project planning and associated governmental approval, I don't invisage them walking away as a result of a few months delay. There is no legislation preventing this drill from happening. I've been quietly tucking these away, while fear and liquidity exists. GLA
And if any of them hit dust costing upwards of $20 million per drill, what do you tell the tax payer? P45, I'm afraid No politician would take that risk, hence country's like Norway with proven oil and gas reserves set up a National Oil Company. (Statoil, now Equinor) with a staff of technical experts. Ireland could look at production sharing agreements in the future if an industry actually exists. Hence delivery of Barryroe is huge milestone for all partners involved including Ireland and First Oil promises to be an interesting talking point.
Norway did something similar 2 years ago and It certainly hasn't hauled prospecting over that direction. Smoke an mirrors I would suggest. Brexit and Energy security is of national importance to Ireland, an indigenous source and supply is crucial to that.
Evening all, Been quietly accumulating here over the past few weeks, targeting a holding of 1%. "Sanankoro can be characterised as a series of shear-hosted quartz stockworks with a volcano-sedimentary sequence, with higher grade gold contained within the quartz veins, surrounded by a broad halo of lower grade material." RNS 2 Nov 17 At a current MC of £4m and gold pushing higher, results from the noted oxide horizons should prove very interesting. Exciting few weeks and months head. GLA
Looks oversold now. Small 50k buy for me this morning, will continue to add on weakness. Can't see this being a £15 million market cap company when drilling commences next year. Site survey news around the corner. http://www.dttas.ie/sites/default/files/amended%2020181026%20Marine%20Notice%2038%20of%202018%20Geophysical%20Site%20Survey.pdf

"In the Barryroe field, the two reservoir zones that have been successfully tested and independent third party audited contain a mid-case of c. 300 million barrels of recoverable oil. This is a significant volume of oil, and does not include the two further logged hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir zones, nor the potential deeper Jurassic exploration potential." http://www.engineersjournal.ie/2014/04/10/latest-developments-on-the-barryroe-oil-field/ Taking the 34MMBOE and associated volumetric's in the untested hydrocarbon-bearing zones, we could easily see this above a £50 + million MC, applying a very conservative $1.50p based on 2C resources. With the added potential of this covering to 2P reserves status and a subsequent field development plan, were looking a significantly more IMO, with that in mind I can see a takeover on the cards, which is my take on why the BH directors have continued to increase there holding.
The statistics speak for themselves . Angus has been in the business of oil field exploration, appraisal and development a very long time and seen considerable success. While part of Tullow he's seen a 93% success rate on appraisal. https://youtu.be/4gOHrv49L0U
