I do think it is a somersault kind of day!
I think they were buys - looks like it is being accumulated...

Thanks StarGate
I had picked up on the support trendline however never looked at the sector before
Now if you look at some others in the sector it does look like we're going to reverse - eg CARD
Star gate, great TA as always, any chance you could take a look at CURY and post your thoughts?
We’ve closed the gap from 17/01
Onwards and upwards- hopefully!!

Currys is one of the few retailers to beat market expectations after a well-navigated Christmas peak period despite the tough backdrop, Liberum analysts Adam Tomlinson and Wayne Brown say in a note. The electrical retailer notched up robust profits and continuing sustainable gains, reflecting the margin stability achieved in the U.K. market, while direct peers have disappointed, they say. Added to that, the group continues to make profit progress in the Nordics, they say. "As a recovery takes hold, we see the potential for the shares to at least double, in short order," they say. Shares are up 9.1%.
It’s a good turnaround
Media are reporting positively too

Hopefully back into 50+ soon
Hopefully we’ve seen the bottom at 44/45
It may retest that but it looks like IIs are buying in at these levels Goldman and also Frasers - which would definitely make an interesting partnership
There were 2x £2M transactions yesterday so something is brewing
I don’t think you can compare to Marks - much smaller company and overvalued IMO
Currys is cheap at these levels, if we get a positive TU and news of the sale it should be upwards from here IMO
I'm interested too.. Stargate
I think the prediction was pretty close, it looks like it hit 2312 at 15:25 (20 mins after your post)
So a good prediction in my eyes
However day trading in 10 min candles isn't really my cup of tea, I'm more interested in swings over a few days to weeks/months
I'm hoping BATS has bottomed now and starts to move up, it's never great on div day, I'm starting to think it's better to close trades/sell the day before div and buy back in the morning
If you have some time, take a look at VOD and post your predictions
Well xxxA - you were right, they’ve upped to 3.5%
I’m guessing that’s why SP isn’t moving, they’re hoovering up all the cheap shares!
Articles on their website are quite good too…

I’ve sold Carnival and bought MCG (national express NEX)
I’m keeping an eye on PSN and other house builders and also SLP
FWIW I think CCL should continue to rise but probably pull back a little, I was on the Ventura last week, the ship was very busy and these ships are money printing machines, they must make so much out of the drinks packages alone!

I believe the ‘West Midlands Travel’ Birmingham bus part of the company will definitely grow over the coming years
Birmingham is expanding no end and hs2 will bring new commuters in. With the congestion zone, increased mortgage costs, cars will be a luxury to go for some. Ie increased bus travel. Birmingham is slowly turning into London
