Avanti took ownership of 'Artemis' in 2014 a very big and advanced Satallite that has the ability to communicate with other satallites in other band widths. It's fully loaded with very important customers.

Hi Alto, yes there might be something in it. The British MOD has 'Skynet' (satallites) five new ones(just like Avanti) with 14 ground stations ( I don't know how many GS's Avanti has). Skynet provides strategic communications services for the MOD and NATO engaged in coalitions tasks. Both systems launched over a similar time window. Giving near global coverage but not quite. They use Ariana rockets like Avanti. The Skynet global communications system has been in existence since the late 1950's and uses X Band. Where Avanti's is 24 + 6 Ka band (NATO K). Hylas 4(the fifth Satallite) will complete the system. They brand it as giving Cornwall internet coverage but of course you wouldn't spend that kind of money giving holiday makers and wind surfers more internet. It just happens to cover London, GCHQ and all the Royal Navy's and MOD operational bases. The development of HYLAS satallites was financially supported by the British National Space Centre. HYLAS-1 was constructed by EADS Astrium who Operate Skynet for the MOD. Both Skynet and HYLAS are based on the Eurostar E3000 bus design. Everyone remembers the days of 700 pence when we had just two low capacity satallites. We now have four Satellites and a fifth to be launched in spring. Each one bigger than the previous by a long way. I can't see 1,500 pence being unreasonable. That would be a 165 bagger from today's high so far. For 2,500 pence I think we'd need a sixth satalite.

It's all about income and expenditure. The inflexsion point is about to be passed with income overtaking interest payments and heading towards covering overheads and running costs. This is an expensive business. Luckily for anyone entering at this point all the satalite and ground station costs have been paid. Outlaying a massive 1.2 billion in the process ( the market cap of the company at this point is �10 million) - most world wide telecommunications company's have been customers along with governments in the coverage areas for a number of years- Halas 4 is to be launched in spring next year and is fully paid. Avanti's operational area covers the fastest growing economies in the world. This is a very steady business and once customers buy data space in a satalite they tend not to go anywhere else.
