This is going to be a slow job. Total’s Venus 1 well on the South African / Namibian border is the one to watch. The offshore kudu well (Namibia) discovered gas in 1974 is still undeveloped. Tullow is to develop it ASAP I think 2020. The cormorant well drilled offshore Namibia this year found a dry reservoir which means oil should have been there but the migration paths from where the oil was were blocked off. If Venus is a success things will start to grind higher.

Could this sink to it’s January 2016 low of 75p? Everything’s in the pipeline but nothing major coming to fruition for months And I cant see anything that would stop it dropping. Just a matter of how far.

After selling out at 2.5p. I’m worried the gold price is about to kick off big time and I’ll miss the rise. if this argument between Trump signing legislation over Hong Cong derails the China trade talks all bets on a gold price decline are off. How much time do I have to decide and what shall I do? Will gold kick off after lunch today or over the weekend, will I have time on Monday to re invest in aau?

Hi Phob, Brent is heavy as opposed to WTI. High sulphur is something different. But you know that anyway. There is a shortage of high sulphur fuel oil(HSFO) in the market. The Lack of Venezuelan and Iranian medium-heavy crude grades and opec production cuts have put a dent in the supply. Refineries that are geared up for HSFO are desperate for it.

They have masses of oil, more drilling results at the end of this month and continued drilling campaign into 2020.The heavy crude is similar to North Sea Brent. What’s not to like? American Refineries are desperate for more heavy crude they can’t get enough of it.

Silver should be at about $25 to $28. There’s a missing bit on the 5 year silver chart. it’s there on gold but silver hasn’t filled the gap yet.

Zen can produce oil. They have the equipment and the oil field. The drilling campaign is truly on.

The Equity bull market is stalling for a whole host of reasons and the value of money needs to be protected so You’ll start to see a syphoning effect out of equities into gold and silver.
AAU will inevitably rise as all boats do on the incoming tide.
