The sell off starts into results next week... And one look at the chart tells you what usually happens after, I'll be buying the dip for sure as the business is fundamentally solid.

Relax.. low volumes and algo trades on the short side pushing the price down. It is a technical move in my view as soon as the RSI hit 70. Opportunity presenting if you have conviction, if not then retail just sell at any price.

Dodger .. because history is never guaranteed to repeat again and again but it often rhymes that's why. with take overs and the UK stock market soo undervalued anyway it would be nuts to not have some skin in the game.

Relax peeps ... this company has a share cycle. One look at the chart will tell you that. It has been sold off in the summer months for a few years now which makes it the perfect time to buy for summer figures later in the year. Its a no-brainer if you not a trader and prepared to wait more that a week... I am buying all the way down as we go.

Green bars .. is that broken record playing again.... every day the same tune no doubt on a loop ....

Doing nothing always seems to work for me on bad news days which it appears were priced in :)

Two choices here.. bale out at open for a large loss or do nothing and see where we end up. Experience tells me the latter provides a better outcome, especially when some powder remains dry... I never trade in the first 30 mins of any market, it has served me well over the years,

Bob, it has appeared as the same pattern 10-2 days before earnings calls for the past couple of years if you look at a daily chart. Sometimes very heavy selling which I suspect may have something to do with short sellers and people hedging. That said it also presents as a real opportunity if you have faith in the company...At these levels I am waiting to start to add more and more should the price fall to circa 270 and yes I'll be sitting on a paper loss for a while. DYOR

The shares are only cancelled from trading; the nominal value of the shares remain. Therefore when the take over is for an agreed price happens your daughter will receive that price per share in her account in due course.... hope that helps

Nice to see the range getting positive reviews which was a big issue for me overall. Now it is down to execution and in view of that I am happy to hold and add on any dips ahead of further trading statements.. looking far more positive from a business perspective. I just ignore the usual haters and hence the green bars are back I see.

That doesn't sound too sinister to me ...usually any unruly departure is spun in term of - 'to pursue other interests' etc etc

Some people got fleeced yesterday afternoon and allowed a large buy order to be filled... onwards to 540 and close the gap...
