RE: price10 Sep 2018 10:59
The only reason that this would go lower in the short term is sentiment and on that point I am Myo…. I look at my exposure level with this share and to be frank it is horrendous... I then ask myself where else would I invest the capital that doesn't carry inherent risk and on that point I rule out the FT100 (given trade tensions and currency speculation) and I look at the FT250 and what do I also see risk.... forget cash I think unless I want to line the pockets of others.
So, I revisit my choice to invest in SXX and note that nothing has really changed with the investment case, I may not get rich but get rich shares are very, very, few and far between. So even with the levels of exposure, I cannot bring myself to sell on sentiment, simply because it makes no sense to do so when short term SP fluctuations would inform the decision making process.... I am still very optimistic on this company and revisiting fears on what may come to pass from a negative perspective is as equally destructive and being over optimistic. This SP is not going to recover quickly in my view, any further torps etc, are pretty much now priced in. Until the dilution issue is resolved I am pretty much going to sit on my hands while others look for exit points....rightly or wrongly I think the dilution risk is now priced in as well so selling at this point would make no sense on the basis of perhaps a 10% downside risk.
