Why do people keep going on about the share price going down due to dilution?
The company is now worth more as it has a bigger percentage, there shouldn't be any drop
due to dilution!
If we had say 50% of something worth £1M (1,000,000 shares @£1)
Then bought the other 50% for £1M, for example gave the seller 1,000,000 shares.
We would now have 2,000,000 shares in circulation and surely they would still be worth £1 EACH
Am I missing something?
