Just a thought.
Brockman Mining and Minres JV has Native title on 124Mt @ 60.3%FE on our border at Sirius. Their main focus has been at Marillana where they have over 1000Mt but at 42%FE.
Once we get approvals it paves the way for an agreement to be done to use our access and maybe even crushing and screening facilities. They may even contribute to our CAPEX needs to secure their access.
Another snippet from Brockman Mining 2021 Annual Report:
The Native Title Agreement with the Nyiyaparli people that was executed in May 2015 covers all tenements comprising the Ophthalmia project and was based on the existing agreement with the Nyiyaparli people covering Marillana (signed in 2009). It takes into consideration the Nyiyaparli people’s interests with regard to the management of Cultural Heritage and Protection of the land and environment at the Ophthalmia project, as well as providing education and training opportunities for the local Nyiyaparli people.
PS. Sirius is part of their Opthalmia tenenents.
CJM - a snippet from Fenix Native Title article....
"Fenix’s agreement with the Wajarri Yamatji Group includes a number of stipulations, including a modest sign-on fee, ongoing royalty payments, and indigenous employment targets. The company will settle the sign-on fee by issuing 2.5 million new shares in Fenix to a nominee of the WY Group."
could see something similar here.
Pretty sure Brockman mining (who have a JV with Min Res) has Native title on all their Opthalmia tenaments, it appears their main focus has been on Coondiner. IOCA will provide a route out for them at Sirius.
Surely a deal can be struck.
Yes Unclejim. Transparancy is good from my POV too. Its about time some realistic timelines were set. Hope the term 'shovelready' is put in the bin.
Very interested to see what dealmaker Rod can do with Sirius and the Brockman/Minres Partnership.
