RE: Vaccine will be available within weeks26 Oct 2020 11:50
Sunsurfer, smithy is never right. I’ve been invested in IAG longer than smithy started his nonsense on these boards. I have him filtered therefore can’t read the dribble.
In relation to social distancing, they will relax the measures as the vaccine is being deployed. You can’t lock the world up for another year, the damage to the economy will be devastating, therefore certain measures will slowly be relaxed.
In relation to the vaccine, no one can confirm it will take months or years for it to kick in as everyone’s immune system is different. Everyone produces different types of antibodies and at different rates, therefore you can’t have a one time scale fits all as some will possibly already be immune without a jab.
We are all here for the long haul, everyone with a portion of IAG stock, I hope does well and I do stand by my thoughts that by March 2021, we will be close to normality.
My decision then will be to Either cash out on my target price or leave the investment for longer as airlines will begin to grown in revenue as the rebuild of the word is in full flow.
