It's been a while since I've been around these parts, but I thought I might pop by and say hello.
So I'm still invested, having taken a pretty large and cold bath, like many of us. So with a bit of perspective these are my reasons for remaining in.
I bought a pretty large holding pre COVID when COPD was the thing. SNG showed significant promise in patients with viral infections and I believe that a new test as a broad antiviral will be the route to authorisation and it's eventual redemption.
So next stop will be announcement of a new broader trial.
I posted on the 1st November that the 15th Feb is my pick.

RE: Trial Completion window opens tomorrow01 Nov 2021 14:08
I'm going for last recruit taken on c 24th Nov, with trial complete on Xmas Eve!. P3 results 15th Feb.
I have changed my expected timeline for the P3 results as I had hoped for a cheeky RNS in the week before Xmas.
Having looked at the the trial protocol and with asking someone with knowledge of drug trials a couple of things stood out.
Although the enrolment was completed on the 11 Nov, the 35 day trial would take it to c 15 -17th Dec ( with an RNS a few days later!). One thing i did not pick up is that the people conducting the trial must monitor and report Significant Adverse Events for up to 28 days after the trial. Also, the Parexcel must check and validate the data which may involve some back and forth with some queries.
Despite this I suspect that there will be an interim analysis probably published in early Jan, but doubt the full results wont be published until March.
Happy to be wrong - or if anyone with better trail knowledge can add/correct.
So, just taking a break from prepping food for 30 people over the next few days to catch up on what's happened today. Was it me or were we expecting a different RNS, notifying the end of the trial?
Still... I passed the 2 yr anniversary of my first SNG purchase, recently and I thought I would revisit my original thesis for buying it (COPD) and the subsequent world events. I originally set a c35p - 40p exit price, but I said to myself that I would be driven by the news from the company rather than market noise. It has has been a bit of a ride as this stock has caught me by the tail. My original modest 1/3 m holding seems to have taken over my world. I have reconciled myself to the binary outcome nature and what that may or may not bring. Suffice to say I have held and at times added over the last few years and will continue to do so until news one way or the other comes.
I try to only occasionally check in on whats happening particularly at a time like this. I shall check in again in the new year, so wish you all and your families a merry Christmas.

So been here for nearly 2 yrs on the back of treatment for COPD. First few buys sub 10p.
I said I will be driven by news and with p3 down to last twenty odd to recruit I shall not be selling yet.
Although Im neck deep in this, I did pick some up at 130p a few weeks ago and now 170p.
I'm holding for further stock specific news.
Yep I saw that.. but cfds as derivatives can't possibly have voting rights. So leaves two options. It's a mistake in the filling out of the TR1 form or the investment bank on the other side of the CFD trade has hedged it's self and bought the stock and entered into a separate agreement to swap.
Or there is the possibility that I'm wrong.
I shall find out..
