Yes, impressive performance. Recently topped back up to 30k shares. If AHL can keep in this territory for a large part of H2 there should be some decent performance fees. If GLG can get a modicum of decent performance and the two US acquisitions contribute good earnings , we should surely see some uplift soon in the share price ?!

Fantastic comeback from AHL so far , and if the GLG funds can stabilise and get a modicum of decent performance, then should see some chunky fees coming in. Hopefully the new US funds will add good fees too.

can't help but agree with you. yes, I get the fact that it's growing quickly, etc., but surely the current valuation is counting on utterly fantastic growth and rising profits many years into the future?! not holding a position either way, but just looking in.

By 0.8% for AHL....what do they fail to grasp about adjusting the systems. This could turn out like last May if they don't get a grip on things. Sold 5000 of mine at a loss as this all starting to feel like déjà vu.

They had better get to grips with this fast! In my opinion, losing 4% in less than a week is massively incompetent...are they going to grab defeat from the jaws of victory here yet again?! Come on, Man Group, this is utterly woeful!

may well have gone down, but so have costs too - quite heavily in some areas. from 2015 Numeric and Pine Grove will be contributing their management and performance fees into the total pot too. I really think these results are pretty decent - they just need to keep plugging away.

have not yet been incorporated. if you take their total FUM as 15.7$ billion (approx. a quarter of Man's current FUM), then they should surely add in the region of $100million in management and performance fees? maybe more

yes, 14.4p for an interim seems very generous. not yet invested in DLG, but interested to see how the market reacts to these results.

hi, just wondering if they'll highlight the reduction in gross management fees. obviously , in this set of results this has been negated by the very steeply reduced costs, but have no idea how the market will react to these figures. they look good in some areas undoubtedly. hopefully, performance fees will be up in H2, especially if AHL hits the HWM.

we don't have too long to wait to find out if insider knowledge at play. still a bit taken aback by the size of the fall .

I think Man Group has followed this pattern before. I want to definitely see a close above 120p though. could just be a big shakeout.....the last couple of months have been so bullish , that unless someone knows something, then this will hopefully prove to be the mms taking out stops, etc. I guess quite a few would have been around 120p. we'll know tomorrow and sincerely hope Man aren't going to let us down....again!

you have gone from weak to strong buy in a matter of hours? guessing that was a typo? anyway, nervous about Friday....Jupiter have followed the others in dropping 3.5% odd on what appeared to be reasonable results. does anyone know the consensus view for the H1 results?

St.James, Aberdeen and Ashmore have all reported in the last week or so, and I think all have been received negatively, or neutral at best by the market. hoping we both report a great set of figures and the market likes it too.....taken over a year to get back to this level, so hope it's built on firm foundations this time round.

it's still 0.6% up for the week. hopefully get it upto 1% for the week. less than previous weeks, but still positive.

two back......we're now lower than when the news of the successful wells was released last week. 7.5% down currently....

I would like to think you're right, but have totally given up on this company and its awful management team. I retain my holding , hoping for a small miracle. if it happens at least it'll be a pleasant surprise
