Before NANO selects a new CEO, the Chairman and NEDs need to determine which strategy to follow, i.e. to pursue a trade sale, new but smaller contracts in the markets specified in the RNS such as defence and agriculture, or a combined strategy. Dependent upon the strategy different preferred candidates are likely to emerge. Once more interesting and risky times ahead for NANO.

Meant not dilution but through fewer shares in circulation of course.

@Nanogeddon. Yes, if we continue to fall and Cavendish keep buying, we need to be careful that we don't inadvertently fall foul of the triggers for % shareholdings through dilution% 😂

@Feeks. You might be right about the bounce because at the moment our CEO is jumping ship, and there is no short term strategy, only Medium/Long term with our Asian customer. There usually is some form of bounce though, so we may find out next week?

I feel the same way Smithy. Perhaps there is hope in the ".. small scale market opportunities." the RNS mentions, although quite what obstacles there might be to pursuing them seems curious. Did we commit to give future exclusivity rights over those to STM also? I thought we had a non-exclusive agreement. Once again, all our eggs in one basket - BT has been a huge disappointment in all respects.

Is the European Partner (allegedly STM) now rolling NANO over too?

They now have a good understanding of both first and second gen material and with patents running out, they might be making their own as soon as possible?

In the circumstances he should be leaving with a package commensurate with the real value he delivered. His salary more than cover it and permitting him to retain share options is more than a little insulting.

@ TerrorWit. Please do answer the question what makes you an “experienced litigant”. I am sure you can appreciate that it could mean you have contested a few parking fines or speeding tickets or perhaps that you have managed a Class action on behalf of a City solicitor? Which is it?

Maybe you could indicate how many cases, whether you were the plaintiff or defendant, what % of cases you won and how much you successfully recovered on average? That might give everyone the context they need to know if you can be taken at all seriously.

Having been invested for 15 years, I have seen two CEO’s neither of whom managed to deliver profitability. However, each has or will exit as a ‘good leaver’ meaning they keep many or all of the benefits and shares accrued and we shall need to dig deep again to fund a third CEO’s package and lifestyle.

The Remuneration Committee needs to be reminded of its obligations and the fact that its policy has not delivered reward for Executives and shareholders in equal measure. You report card is telling everyone that you must do much better in future.

Not it’s not DimWit but it is a fact the largest shareholders sold at opportune points in time and/or lent money at Wonga rates of interest.

The Board received 90% of votes cast rather than 90% of all votes and aadly many PI would have determined there was no point in voting given that II were bound to vote with Brian. Doubt was placed in their minds by assertions that our future was so bright.

It would not take a genius to recognise that Tenner was successfully re-elected because he had the support of the majority shareholdings, each of which did very well under his office.

I thought you were not engaging with this Board today TerrorWit.

It is the case that Jury could potentially be vetted to ensure bias is minimised as far as possible but if NANO had been successful on appeal it is also the case that an award would be made over the timeframe including the appeal period.

It is not a foregone conclusion that awards are reduced on appeal and there is also the ‘wilful’ damages consideration to factor in too. Sadly BT has done all shareholders a great disservice and exits stage left with trousers full of cash. Not us !

It looks to me that you are the one in the wrong swimming lane using your limited knowledge of legal action (as a plaintiff and possibly defendant, rather than as a lawyer) to draw conclusions that are not correct.
