I must admit outages, dust storms and flooding were not something I`d considered when making my investment decisions. You learn all the while.

If you are holding life changing amounts in any company and hear news of cyclones, flooding and stoppage of production you can`t ignore the rumours. As an insurance I`ve sold half. I fully expect the company to flourish and can always put back the money I`ve taken out when we hear from the Company via an RSN ,If I have to pay a premium so be it.

They have to be cautious because any price sensitive information has to be released by an RNS.

You are correct Tom ,I`m coming up to 87 and as you say 2yrs suddenly seems a long time. GGP have served me well so I`m hanging in there.

It seems the market has put a market value on us as a producer .The way Telfor is progressing it could soon stand on its own as a separate company as more and more ore is being discovered and its life extended into decades. Not many thought ( Newmont included )that what is being discovered now was possible.

Havieron could then become a separate entity with it`s own capital raising for having it`s own processing plant.

The sum of the parts is nearly always worth more than the existing single structure.

It seems success in finding more gold is not what the market needs at this time. It merely distances us from the time we will be getting a cash return ie dividends from our investment. We have been too successful in our drilling activities which is costing us all the revenue we can produce to pay for it. We already have a mine which is considered will be producing for 40years. I hope some serious consideration will be given to the reason why people invest ie return on their investment.

The possibility in the budget of capital gains not within the ISA wrapper being aligned to income tax rates on disposal must make those with large paper gains decide to sell before the budget announcement especially if you are a higher rate payer .

I see no logical reason why the share price should fall further .

The closing price of 19.6 p was a U/T trade of a single share. The price at 4.30pm was 18/19p so it`s likely to open at 18/19 p

I can`t see why it should affect Ithaca adversely as I would assume the Administrators if appointed would sell off the British side of the business to another service provider.

The Pre-Emption agreement states the existing partners have the option to buy BP`s share on the same terms offered to Serica .There`s nothing to say that Serica could not come back and make a higher offer which they would then have to match. As has been said BP would have offered their holding to it`s partners first prior to agreeing Serico`s offer.

Whilst I appreciate the drop in gold today affects sentiment in the sector but makes no difference to us . We are cashed up to continue 12-18mths drilling on what looks like very promising areas. We have a feasibility study in progress to be announced year end which again should add substantial value to us .The price of gold today is immaterial to us and once the panic selling is over we can get back to normality.

Assuming Triton is sorted and with the recent Prax acquisition and hopefully the BP deal goes ahead we are beginning to look very good value.

I`m surprised there wasn`t an RNS published before the presentation as I would have thought it contained price sensitive information.

BP`s North Sea assets have been for sale a long time I believe so the partners would have had the opportunity to buy if they had been interested. So I would think the deal should be successful.

Don`t the 6.8mil options etc count in your reconning.
