As for the other board, I am not opposed to the bear argument - I think I remain amazed by some of them (possible the same person - see my earlier post querying the board for "old man watkins") - their hatred, obsession and weak arguments e.g. comparing against Samsara (very expensive) whilst simultaneously stating Trak sell at cost or below; stating that everything is old news and my latest bugbear of attacking the staff (ok, not in a bad way but I think it is low and desperate).

If you didn't guess I remain bullish.

I have finally unfollowed the other forum, the bears are now resorting to personal insults of Trakm8's staff in order to reinforce their positions. So much obsession and hatred for people who aren't even invested. I will say thought - to the bulls, why can't we put in as much effort as the non-invested bears do - shame on us.

Trak are confirmed as an exhibitor at the CV show next year. I guess they think they'll still be around.

Whilst it sounds like good news I am confused..... is this the same news from the July RNS or is this something different? Given it is not another RNS I would say it is the same. I re-read the initial RNS and did not see it mention that it was conditional.

I will be more positive when the AA story gets resolved (which ever way). Other than having a financial interest in the AA I also do not know how this affects SB. Add to that Covid, Brexit and the US elections (general market conditions) ....

My hope is that the harsh conditions Trakm8 has had to adapt to prior to all of the above now means they are in a stronger position going forward e.g. reduced costs and better quality control.

Trakm8 is priced to fail so it is a binary gamble to me. i.e. it should not come as a surprise if it does fail so anyone taking a position knows the score. I believe (and pray) it will recover.

agreed, as a tangent - I always find it mildly amusing when the bears state "facts" whilst speculating about price/quality/state-of-the-art/competitors whilst conveniently ignoring facts like these and Raza's share purchases.

I laughed to myself when they said it was agreed in August - making the point it was a new agreement!

Peter M writes about slot steering in MotorTransport. Talks about Trakm's customer Iceland and how successful they have been at using Trakm8 to achieve this. Slot steering is another way of saying clustering delivery slots to minimise distance travelled.

Interesting the article cites Sainsbury's as an example but does not go as far as identifying them as a client (unlike Iceland) - given it is written by Trakm8 I can only assume it is a nod in the right direction.

Here is a LinkedIN post from Lookers Leasing (2 days ago) i.e. not from Trakm8. It implies this is a recent agreement, not something from yesteryear like the bears would have you believe. LL have no reason to make a song and dance about something that was established years ago.

Great point about the size of the contract. Whilst we will never know if it is true they do not RNS as frequently as they did in the past - so size may be important.

I think some of the things they have put in their news section would probably be RNSed a couple of years back. I remember hearing, from a third party, that the sales teams were under a lot of pressure - not to deliver sales per se but for the share holders. I think they have matured out of that way of thinking and prefer to get on with business and not a show.

If I understood you correctly then I agree the deferred tax should not contribute to the net debt figure. Sounds pretty bad if they have done that because we are talking about a £1m difference.

KBYK - the £2m was an example value

I read it as deferrals less R&D credits is £1m e.g. £2m deferrals less £1m R&D.

Even though that sounds bad, the question I was asking was really asking whether, if net debt included this and they were confident of paying the £1m back in the next few months then net debt yoy would be between £4.4m and £4.9m.

Can somebody please explain these sentences to me.

"We expect that Net debt excluding IFRS16 lease liabilities at the end of the Half Year will be in the range £5.4m to £5.9m (FY-2020: £5.6m). The total value, net of the R&D tax credit cash of government tax deferrals amounts to just under £1.0m"

The question I am asking is.... net debt is all things considered so does the £5.4m to £5.9m include the £1m tax deferrals? I assume it does
