My personal view is that we have witnessed a series of events beyond the control of the company. The extremely high pressure whilst favourable in the longer term effectively put a halt to rapid oil extraction. This pressure was much more than expected and as a result the infrastructure was unable to cope. We had the hedge around $65 when the actual price was lower on purchasing Atomic so again whilst it was a reasonable hedge initially Ukraine sent oil sky high and we could not benefit from it due to high pressure. The company has spent a lot of money trying to resolve this with not much gain hence our low bopd against expectations. Now I believe, and I have a reasonable amount of shares that I have held prior to Wyoming, that the poorly written RNA followed by investor panic without understanding the commentary and the trolls taking advantage puts us where we are. I expect the RNA that company is back on track next week closely followed by a JV RNA. AIMHO and I have not sold a bean!!

If you were invested, which you are obviously not, the reason for BH rather than another form of loan is that it is NOT secured against assets which means that an RBL to clear SL can be achieved. I suspect that they are selling to offset losses against profits on other investments. The offset is based on the amount originally paid so reducing their overall loss significantly. Imagine that this will continue to end of their FY. They can only sell what the market can buy hence the slow drip as there are minimum buyers and certainly no II. If you use the total possible shares for market cap you will not be disappointed. So roughly 500m shares at 6.5 is £32.25 million. So reserve is approx 500m barrels not including deep so at £1 per barrel £500m so you can see disparity. These figures are just a guide and idea.

Could anyone enlighten me with reasons why SP is so low. Some mention LO but would they really sell at this level? I suppose it could be to offset taxes with losses as I cannot see any value in this being shorted. Genuine answers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Problem is you have a short memory. What about all the monies required to pay vast amounts during covid to individuals some of which effectively had a years holiday…. there is no money tree in no 11!! Benefits are going mad whilst there are over a million jobs available and don’t even get me started on the do gooders and asylum while our armed forces are in worse accommodation. Charity begins at home and we need to recognise we are a small over populated island that is being swamped by benefit seekers. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe the fd does not need any approval because it was allocated before biden became president. Only subsequent federal lands need appropriate (whatever that is) approval. Ie any rulings are NOT retrospective.
