Have you seen we’ve had a (up to) 40kW L series fuel cell generator available to buy for probably getting on for a year now and not a single sale.

I believe the sale (50% off) of the 200kW system is still on, will be delivered and the revenue recognised. I’m not convinced they will buy any further units. The sp will continue the decline well into the middle of next year, even if the 50kW Acciona system is delivered and the 200kW system for ABB is delivered it’ll be months before AFC begin volume manufacturing if at all.

To buy a power tower, that was one of Bonds 50+ qualified leads.

We were told last update there were 8000 hrs rental contracted and we wouldn’t be told every time another agreement was signed although there’s enough sleuths on here who would find them without it having to be announced by AFC so it’s probable that not much is going on with further rentals, maybe AFC feel they’ve done enough to generate enough interest for Speedy to take over. Financial year end is 31st October so that will be interesting or not ! I expect Bond will want to have the Speedy JV signed before then or the update is going to be very light on actual deliverables.

Also, it wasn’t just me that took the RNS as being very optimistic, everyone in here was ecstatic, Haggis went into overdrive.

If the overwhelming majority of the combined figures were going to be ‘under development’ then the statement should have said 1gW under development by 2020 with some installed capacity. As it turns out there was zero W installed and anything that was under development then is dead in the water now. Either way, very poor performance and it’s continuing today. Why isn’t the Speedy agreement signed and goods delivered ? We’ve currently got 10 power towers built, that’s it, to supply the growing interest from the construction industry.

So what you’re saying is there are significant air/sea miles to get ammonia to the uk, and then significant road miles to get it to site, how is that better than using hydrogen ?
