I always remember when Gerry Agnew joined, he previously worked at Rolls Royce and everyone was saying what a steal. I pointed out that I had previously worked at a company that had an ex Rolls Royce guy as CEO and he was absolutely useless. Gerry apparently is a world leader in fuel cell technology, how on earth has he allowed Bond to get away with designing and building a fuel cell generator for £355k ? Why is he still there ? He should be ashamed.

Cost parity for TCO, meaning cost to run it as well, more expensive initially but cheaper to run with hydrogen costing less than diesel, however nobody really knows over what time period cost parity is achieved as it will, among other things, depend on how much use the generator gets

I don’t think anyone is forgiving towards Bond, but why shouldn’t the new management be given a chance. Most of us don’t have a lot of choice unless you want to walk away with a big loss. The new plan sounds sound, it appears that JW is very astute and knows exactly what’s needed to get us there, it’s just more waiting. I will probably stop looking for a few months, I expect there will be news, JW doesn’t seem to be the kind of guy to sit on his hands.

Anyway, Ade, they’re not changing the fuel cell, they’re using a different stack, so it’s basically a new fuel cell generator that will need to be redesigned around the new stack and CE marked, again, painful yes, but necessary. Bond thought he could sell a 30kw generator for £355,000, what an absolute 🤡 of a CEO, diesel 30kw generators are £20k. Plus he hadn’t worked out that it was too expensive to transport hydrogen around.

AFC are not geared up for storing the hydrogen that they could produce, although Bond (sorry said his name again) did waste another load of cash buying the very expensive ice cream van to transport hydrogen in practical terms it was never going to happen. Air products are geared up to transport hydrogen and we have a 5 year off take agreement with them so it makes sense for them to do it.

Son, watch the presentation again, JW said the fundraise would get us to being a commercial company that can offer products for sale at a profit, he said once we are at that position we have more options available such as debt financing, he doesn’t want more dilution

I’ve answered my own question watching the presentation, customers will be subsidised on a short term basis.

So when Bond proudly announced a new batch of stacks had arrived ready to be put in systems, they’ve basically been put in the bin. Bond thought selling 30kw systems for £355k each was good business.

Anyway enough about Bond, hopefully we never hear his name again, I like JWs dry sense of humour and he doesn’t shy away from answering questions.

Bondy I’m talking about building a couple of crackers for our own use that wouldn’t need to be containerised but probably certified that they are safe, to use in house to produce hydrogen. We’ve done it once, why wouldn’t we build more to bring in £1m per year per unit. The one we do have has been sold so there goes our £10 per kilo hydrogen generator. Not saying it’s wrong I just don’t get the reasoning behind it

Bondy, I haven’t seen the presentation yet but only read comments. It does seem incredible that all those years leading up to PLACE were all for nothing, all the millions spent on electrode design which were then bought in, Alkamem which was dropped and 3rd party membrane used, so much for bragging about not using platinum as now we’re not even using our own stacks. So many millions wasted over the years. Plus I’d also like to know why, if there is so much demand from Speedy why not just build another cracker or 2 to produce the hydrogen rather than subsidise customers.

I thought StockCheque, Conman Numpty etc said watch those shorts burn and this will rocket. It’s rocketed to 10.5p.
