Thanks BumbleB, that seems the only way to get news at the moment, from companies associated with AFC. I can see no reason why AFC cannot update us at regular intervals being open and honest.

AFC's first commercial order was announced on the 6th March 2017 ,what's happened with that one since then ?

John Rennocks is on the board of 14 companies and has affiliations to a further 30, so I guess he doesn't have a lot of time for AFC Energy.

I keep thinking the next RNS is going to be a major piece of bad news, possibly we don’t have enough money to continue operations so the IP will be sold off (if it has any value), or they can’t get the computer modelling to produce electrodes with a 4 year lifespan and have got to start from scratch. I can’t see why else we are so depressed.

yes it is a serious comment Southerhay, in a years time this buyer might be saying the same thing when the share price is 0.6p. There's no evidence so far to suggest otherwise.

They've been shouting from the rooftops for years, every time a fundraiser is due, nearly there, milestones almost met, pipeline of prospective customers, new avenues to explore. You can put money on it that when we reach 4 year longevity we'll be told we now need 5 years to be commercial or the power output is greatly reduced being the trade off for longer longevity. Sound familiar?

I'm sorry but it's not factual whatsoever, it's all guesswork, it could just as easily be people buying in the run up to the AGM and will drop usually just before it, the point is no-one really knows.

So they needed a high pressure rig to deal with the massive pressure they encountered and now a little bit of water in there and it stops flowing, doesn't sound right to me.

I didn’t want to start a debate about Gencell, but mainly to answer the question why the share price is languishing where it is. My main point is that it’s all very well saying we are looking at 4 years longevity but we still haven’t cracked 2 yet.

For me i believe the share price is staying put because we only have 1 year life for the electrodes confirmed, 2 years still hasn't been confirmed, originally 2 years was the target for a commercially viable system, now it's 4 years and there's no idea of how long it will take to achieve this, and i also read on this forum that Gencell have 5 years so will that then be the commerically viable target ?
