How big is the market for a clean energy generator whose waste product is water ? Pretty big I’d say. We just need to target the right applications. Hopefully the basic fuel cell design can be built into various applications requiring little redesign. There’s no risk of missing the boat, we just need to survive and get a product to the market, once we do that the future will look a whole lot better

Maybe despite all the assurances it will still take another 7 months (by the end of this year they keep saying) to have a product market ready (that's what the fund raise was for), and he'll buy in, in December at 1.5p ?

AFC Energy have signed a Collaboration Agreement with Rolec Services for the design and distribution of integrated EV charging fuel cell systems.

Leading alkaline fuel cell power company AFC Energy signed the collaboration agreement with Rolec Services, setting out the terms of intent for both parties to design and assess integrated Electric Vehicle (EV) charging systems utilising the AFC Energy fuel cell system.

Integrated EV charging systems of varying sizes will be brought to market for the purpose of off-grid power generation, incorporating Rolec's EV charging platform and AFC Energy's fuel cell system.

The ultimate objective of the Collaboration Agreement is for the integrated system to be capable of sale and deployment across Rolec's existing, and AFC Energy's emerging, network of EV charging distributors and customers.

The first demonstration system is expected to be deployed later this year.

It sounds like from this AGM that all the failures are now out in the open, that’s good in my view, at least AB was honest about where we stand as it stops speculation and we now have a base from which to build on with a commercial product. A couple of positive RNS’s and sentiment could be changed very quickly, here’s hoping.

I don’t have an issue with the company having to change direction, companies often need to reinvent themselves, it’s a shame though if AFC genuinely didn’t know that hydrogen was recycled and there would be less available, it makes it sound like a bunch of blokes had a chat down the pub and one of them mentioned all this waste hydrogen just gets vented and the rest believed him and tried to build a business from it with other peoples money

Thanks everyone for their AGM feedback, and well done sticking it to them. As people have said Bond sounds like an asset in terms of what he has achieved but it’s hard to overlook comments he’s made previously knowing them to be false. It sounds like we will be a difference company moving forwards, whether we are selling one system at £1m or 1000 systems at £1000 makes no difference financially and in some ways selling smaller systems is better

Funny that Rolec don't even consider the AFC agreement worthy of an announcement on their website despite them managing to keep theirs up to date, shows how important this news is to them.

All of my concerns have been proved to be correct.
How the hell can you spend millions of pounds and years of research designing a product which we have repeatedly been told is commercially ready and get turned down by an oil refinery in the CEO's home country that are heavily into recycling and clean energy ? There is no hope left.

Until recently the focus was on containerising the product now that it's commercial....

According to the website the power plants are still the focus, owning and operating them using waste hydrogen. I feel they have diverted to car chargers as they are quicker and easier to design/manufacture and can produce revenue more quickly which we badly need.

Ask them when they knew Southern Oil were redesigning their plant ? When they knew installation would not take place when announced.

I think the most worrying aspect here in light of the news blackout and the fact it’s the day of the AGM is that this RNS is the culmination of the last 10 years work ! This is all we have ?
