Following the successful launch of AFC Energy's H-Power Electric Vehicle Charger in December 2019, the Company has commenced conversations with several prospective customers, including fleet operators, Councils and retailers. These discussions have confirmed interest in our technology and ratified our strategy to introduce 160kW and 480kW units at the earliest opportunities.

To this end, the net proceeds of the Subscription are expected to contribute towards the manufacture of AFC Energy's largest EV charger unit with a nameplate of 160kW to support demonstration and commercial activity in 2020. This new system, capable of delivering up to 3.8MWh of clean off grid energy per day, will sit alongside the existing 20kW EV charger system launched in December 2019.

Well said Heath, me too, they are losing everything they have, their homes, their family, I give a Ukrainian lady a lift in to work, her mum and sister live with another host family, our government made a lot of expensive mistakes dealing with Covid but the uk is the leader in terms of support given to Ukrainian families, she came to the uk and found a good job within a few weeks and is a role model in how to overcome adversity. We may win or lose with our AFC investment but it’s only money, we are privileged to have money to invest here in the first place.

Correct Klunk, not as Haggis suggested then ‘AFC would then have a list (possibly with nothing on it!) that it can prioritise based on 'must have', 'could have', 'future option' and 'no real benefit'. It can then look at the cost and development time to put higher priority options into the production Power Towers. It might choose to do none of them, or it might do what appears to be a change fed back from Acciona and put the forklift slots on the side instead of the front.’
