The fact is nobody knows the reason why RK left ABB so let’s stop with the ramping conjecture. Today at work we lost a fantastic senior employee as the department was deemed top heavy, they will be looking at competitors, customers and suppliers as possible opportunities, quite often in your own organisation you don’t hear the real truth why people leave especially if it’s top management decisions. Maybe he worked too many hours at ABB and had a poor work/ home life balance, maybe he wanted to work from home, the least likely reason to me is that ABB have planted him with AFC.

I think AB could rightly argue that only news of actual sales is SP sensitive since no one believes a word he says any longer. We all already know that ABB have the AFC fuel cell as an option in their brochure, doesn’t mean they’ve sold any and I think the fact they’ve finally taken on a biz dev person is an admission by Bond that he can’t actually sell anything, only make partnerships and mous.

We had all this same speculation when Tom Pollard joined from Rolec, I think it’s nothing more than someone wanting to change jobs, maybe things weren’t going to well for him at ABB, it happens ! Most people if their job is going well and getting rewarded they don’t leave. ABB have potentially lost a good business development manager. Bond does not have a good track record in recruitment.

If it was acquisition they would put someone on the board, not a biz dev manager. It would have to be announced prior to the data centre conference if he’s going to be there, otherwise it would be a bit awkward

This looks to be a great appointment unlike the Rolec one, where they took on their general manager to do a sales role, at least this guy has a background as an account manager.

Bond told the markets he expected commercial orders following the trials, he didn’t say he expected further modifications following the trials, if no orders are forthcoming and further mods followed by further trials are needed it is an indication that Bond doesn’t know what potential customers want and doesn’t understand the market he’s operating in.

As if the dismal sp performance isn’t bad enough your investment is worth 9% less than it was this time last year due to inflation. I can imagine the eoy report being full of jam tomorrow except even that will be delayed and it’ll be jam in the coming weeks, Bond having trouble sourcing said jam, and then when the jam does arrive it’ll be the wrong flavour jam, Bond ordered strawberry but everyone now likes raspberry.

If the governments around the world had followed your advice Mucksy we’d have been piling bodies in the streets, in fact some countries were but on a much larger scale, you have a very short memory of how bad it was, look how many doctors and nurses died from contracting it while helping to save others. In your scenario if your mum or dad are fighting for their lives and you ring an ambulance the response is sorry they’ve got covid, nothing we can do, how would you feel about that ? You’d be the first complaining. Very compassionate.

Lots of promise in lots of areas, no commercial interest, lots of competing technologies, diesel generators running on HVO, as you say DW battery storage although our offering needs battery storage on top on the fuel cell so makes us very expensive, cheaper fuel cells etc, I still think our tech is not ready yet despite years of promises, otherwise we would have orders, it’s that simple.
