Bond meanwhile announced 1gW of installed capacity or under construction by 2020, where was he going to get the hydrogen from ??? Makes you realise now how ludicrous this dream was.

Check out the SP and compare it to what the launch price was and ask yourself if AFC has been a good investment and whether investors money have been well spent over the last 14 years. Partnerships announced years ago, Bond continually telling shareholders that everything is still on track and then nothing, at least he’s finally admitted Julich is dead. What about BK Gulf for mass manufacturing and Altaaqa for equipment hire, are both those alive a kicking ? Both were announced and received as massive news, breaking into the huge Middle East market, yet some here pretend it doesn’t matter. Loss of face and not delivering will affect the perception of the company and ultimately how successful they will be. But it’s fine, we’ve got an exclusive deal with Speedy for a few EK chargers.

Bond should be hanging his head in shame. AFC so busy busy busy but not busy doing the one thing a company exists for in the first place, to make money ! How much of that £200k revenue recognised was for the ABB system ? They’ve clearly got a lot of work to do before the end of the year to recognise the remaining £1.4m ! Disastrous results.

An exclusive deal for Speedy is obviously great for Speedy, not so great for AFC. Of course Speedy would want an exclusive deal, who wouldn’t ? As usual AFC have limited negotiating power because they have no sales, no track record of delivering on promises and will take anything they can get.

Islandgirl the government gave billions away during covid to makes for PPE that wasn’t even compliant, they gave billions away to fake companies in the form of bounce back loans, £4m to a company that claims to have the solution to global warming is an insult.

We have all been waiting patiently, 14 years now for AFC ? They have finally cracked their latest goal after all these years, to sell to the construction industry via hire companies, and the sp is 10% up on the news. If ever you needed a clear indication that the market does not trust Bonds negotiating skills e.g giving away £2m to ABB then this is it.

Come Monday and the dust has settled and people start to realise nothing has changed and the sp starts to slide again I’m sure they will do very well, especially when the interim results are announced and then another fund raise will be needed (at a discount of course).

Sorry Phat, they don’t, it’s a proposed jv, nothing signed yet, the deal has to be agreed. A deal was agreed with Altaaqa to great fanfare, look how that turned out.

Ramesh, It is proposed that the AFC Energy equipment will be available for hire exclusively from the JV through Speedy for an initial three-year period.

No mention of exclusivity only in the uk which would have made sense but then Bond has screwed up every deal to date.

Yes I’m sure the SP will react positively but once the dust settles we will be back to waiting for news of when we will actually have products available for sale.

So Altaaqa not getting any hire agreement then.

I’ll be happy when it’s an actual signed jv, AFC actually deliver the products, and customers hire them, and come back with repeat business, this still seems years away right now.

Hi goatlegs, sorry how soon ? Like 2 years ago when the power towers went on trial, or like 3 years ago when the worlds first hydrogen powered ev charger was unveiled or 1gW by 2020 ? But hey, I’d love to be proved wrong but so far there is ZERO proof that Bond can sell a single system.

Neither Brett aggregates or energy solutions uk interested in announcing their involvement in the gov grant or even mentioning that they are working with AFC. Speaks volumes.

IP, you mean like the brokers that also know everything but had to halve their SP targets, do they also know everything and can predict the future ?

Having just read the RNS no one finds it disconcerting that Acciona or Kier aren’t involved in the consortium ? And no letters of endorsement from them but an unknown? And a new battery supplier, where’s Multi source power gone ? Very worrying.
