amen to that Riolto, the few Bp i still hold (8000 ish) are up quite a bit, bought most @4.50 so happy with those but still going to hold for the divi, will reconsider if they make �6. The pound going down vs the dollar will help the divi as well so all positive. Glaxo not a share i know much about but i did pick up talk a while back about the divi, 80p i think, possibly being underthreat for some reason or other, the guys on the Glen board often discuss glaxo and recon it should have a higher sp. just want my glen to pick their socks up, have a lot of those and about 18k underwater at the moment, though with each penny up/down being worth �420 to me its a bit of a nailbiter going either up or down. No worries long term though.

both ezj and rya up today, not massively but going the right way, hopefully see the �17 soon although i am mulling selling my ezj to pick up some more ridiculously cheap glen. See BP are flying at the moment :)

im with Hl with sipp, isa's and trading accounts. superb service and simple platform. They are always posting circulars asking you to transfer isa's etc to them when you are a customer, so shouldnt be a problem. Give them a ring for a chat would be the best plan.

billy. �24.34 x 3600 im still up loads mind so am not bothered really, i was just hedging against the bp/russia exposure so an oil for an oil swop, just a nasty surprise to see them down by that amount today yet Bp up. im long on rdsb (and 8000 x bp still) to the tune of 11000 shares, some at �12 ish with an average of �17, so only a tongue in cheek moan guys, dearest i've bought have been �24.34

also has the decent regular divi to soften any short term blips in the sp.

Ifonly. wouldnt worry about what others think, its your cash and your choice and good luck to you, theres always some odd bods on these boards out to wind people up. See your name around on a few of the boards and you do ok usually, so just carry on regardless. FWIW you called it right for me yesterday.

sometimes in these circumstances, i take my original stake out and use it elsewhere, leaving the profit in as a 'free ride' to (hopefully) keep growing or collecting divis for the future. This way you are only left risking your profits, rather then original stake.

certainly was a strong riser today, pre divi probably, am only looking for a small amount of around �500, divi and/or sp rise to 650 will do me and i'll be back out.
