ken, agreed mate that does my head in too. what i do is use the transaction tab to call back up the trades ive done to check on the actual price ive paid, as you say the figures they list are always unreliable. So i never trade the same amount of shares in something like glen, i always buy/sell a different number of shares, 1000,1001, 1002 etc so i can link the two trades (buy and sell) together accurately. A spreadsheet would work as well or even old school you could print and pair up the contract notes. Tis a pain though mate completely agree.

JT, im with HL too, same as Ken although as i trade less often the rate is £11.95 a go for me - think once you hit 20 it reduces down to the £5.95. Telephone customer service is the best ive had anywhere before, always answered by a person not a robot, and the trading platform is so easy even i can do it.

i should be so lucky craig - but maybe not via the hospitals wifi. Hard enough having to put up with all these fit nurses wondering around. Bodies getting a rest but the eyes are WELL busy ??

cheers qz, pretty boring lying in bed all day, so with plenty of time to watch the screen i may as well replace my wages and have a little fun. Poor ipad is getting a right load of use at the moment keeping me occupied with one thing or another.

aether, i suspect, and hope for, the same no deal exit, am sick of the way the UK has been treated. There will undoubtably be turmoil and instability but i personally dont think brexit will affect the likes of glen too much. Companies justbfar to big and is global in nature. As much as i love my country, we are not realy global players in much these days, despite being the 5th biggest economy. The reality is we dont make much and are in essence just a giant shop for others goods, which we buy on the tick, we always try and punch above our weight on the global,stage, foreign aid, military etc, but in essence we are not as flush as we'd like to beleive. I think UK stocks, such as Lloy, will catch a cold on brexit, but multi nationals i just cant see it mate.

hope your right ken, dumped £140k of rdsb after the recent rise gave me a decent profit to free up some proper cash to use trading glen.

cheers Ken, chugging along mate still in hospital but on the mend a tad. Getting itchy fingers so having a few dabbles in glen here and there to alieviate the boredom. Fingers crossed it shoots up in the morning.

im going to hold my trading pot of 30k shares over night. bought in at 304 this morning so in profit but i think theres more in it

billy, im not so keen on the cobalt results myself. Spending money to extract and stockpile only while the decontamination plant is constructed i personally see as a negative. Obviously once the plants running it will lower future costs, as already extracted, but i see that one as an expensive drag at the moment. Hope the markets diagree though and we head on upwards. The rest look alright.

my reduced 2/3rds sized stomach had a hissy fit and blew up to be three times too big, and then promptly conked out and refused to work. am being fed and watered by machine (having lost 1.5stone in three weeks) so it gets a rest and hopefully returns to normal size and sorts itself out again. Will be here sometime yet unfortunately.

unable to build me a snowman guys, been stuck in Plymouth hospital for just over a fortnight, so no fun in the snow for me. Had to talk the ward staff into letting the wife stay over tonight as its impossible to get into Newquay with the road closures, bunch of snowflakes these lot down south, not hard like us midlanders.

Been trading a little the last few days, nothing major, but up a couple of K so at least im earning while lying in my cot lol

am in already at 75. fingers crossed we get someway north of that. cheers
