billy, they are gorgeous things, see lots of them sited down my part of the country during the summer, then off they go to the continent for the winter, id love one but only have a C1 license rather than hgv. Never been much of a traveller but fancy catching up a bit and chasing the sunshine - get far to much drizzle in Cornwall

ken, always done a paye job myself, but pretty specialised. worked 7 days a week doing the 9-5, whilst also running my own plumbing company and buying and flipping houses at the same time while living frugaly. Made enough to retire at 42 and moved to the coast to chill. Got bored with the sudden slowdown in life from 100 miles and hour to zero, so started to work parttime again in my old industry, but getting lazy in my old age now as i approach 50 and am going to use what ive accrued to have a second go at retirement, assuming of course i get back on my feet. Current plan is to sell up both houses we own, buy a big posh motorhome and travel permamently in that around europe and the UK, living off the divis and capital.

ken, my trouble is i have 42k of them with a buy price of 400, so will be stuck with them for sometime i think. Am using the rest of the pot to try and make back these paper losses. my usual investment strategy is as a lth and to chuck decent amounts into things, seeking capital gains, then withdraw profits and add to my income holdings of BP & especially RDSB and hold, moving £40k from my fund/share account into our ISAs each year to reduce the tax on income (hate having to take all the risk while the taxman creams off his cut).

This year ive got to learn to sit on my hands a bit more lol

ken, hope your right there, think i need to find a different share to play with, have far to much tied up long term with glen, with all the unpredictability im becoming more reluctant to bung big amounts of money her way in addition to whats stuck.
