If the chinese dont start being a bit more open and reasonable with all the worlds countries then i hope they get their just deserts, theres a few countries now getting more pi55ed with them. Time to freeze them out economically.

With the relaxation on business rates, local authouritites will have no choice but to wack up council tax to pull in the money they need, sorry cough cough, waste. Especially as government are losing so much income from petrol, vat, income tax etc, as well as spending it like water on everything.
Not sure when the next budget is scheduled but could be a bit of fun making our predictions as to how we will all get clobbered.

I ticked 'feck off no' to more buybacks (res18). i dont like buybacks unless cancelled and very substantial % of issued stock being taken out of the market.

Got my voting slip in the post today for the AGM for the shares i hold in certificated form here (40,000).
No resolutions for the divi/capital repayment im afraid gents, so looks like they are waiting till 3rd quarter before deciding if we get our cash. boooooo

Agree with you regards your shielding pals, if an empty area is nearby then a trip outside in the fresh air is a good tonic, not good for us humans to be cooped up for long periods. I use the coast path as its right on my doorstep, never anybody on there, all need to stretch the muscles before they disappear.
