The whole lithium thing is auite bizarre i find, on one hand there is a huge worldwide clamour to aquire the metals, yet some (kzg for sure) are sitting here doing nothing, yet the likes of a battery maker/car manufacturer/miner etc etc could snap them up with change from the tea fund - but nobody is willing to come up with a very small amount of cash to do so, even the Chinese arent bothering.
I find that completely unfathomable given all the demand hype and grades here and i consequently have to suspect that something is amiss. What other explanation can there be?
A family member of mine is director level in a specialst UK battery manufacturer - they have zero electric vehicles in their fleet, yet supply JLR , again not what you would expect given the 'green' agenda playing out everywhere.

Currently in my town of 20k people BP (forgive the swearing) are currently midway through the complete replacement of the largest petrol station in the area. It as been fully raised to the ground for a total rebuild. Previously it didnt have a single EV charge point. Am quite looking forward to seeing it completed to see how many charge points BP now install, will be quite revealing as to their thinking as a 'green' business.

What i dont get with all this 'batteries are the way forward' stuff, is the lack of understanding of how anti-environment the product actually is. Such things need considering fully in the round and the media/green lobby etc seem incapable of that fact.

Hi Tucson, have no doubts the guy is a prolific businessman, also looked over his holding companies history, Giles has his fingers in so many unrelated businesses its clear he's game to try anything, and why not indeed, a diverse empire reduces risk rather like a shares portfolio. From what i have read the guy is quite ruthless, often a good trait in business, but i would suggest that it is also wise to be fair reasonable and actualy likable as an individual, especially when trying to prise investment monies from other hands to fund. The article paints Giles as not such a person, but who's to know realy certainly not anybody on here.

I did indeed note his charitable efforts, very noble and gracious way to spend ones time, but like you insinuate i think it would be wise to focus on his investement businesses a little more - i mean how much time can he actually spend on Kazera with so many other interests to juggle at the same time? Maybe that is reason for the 'continual silence' issue we have here.
