That's all very true Nick, but it also applies to Aviva. Who seem to be doing rather nicely. It's that difference I don't understand, how can we be doing so much worse?

I admit to very limited knowledge, however I'm still struggling to understand why a blue chip company of this status, can perform so badly for so long. While living in the same world with the same market conditions etc. It most comparable rival (Aviva) has done pretty nicely. How is that?

No percentages don't really count for much at these sp levels, the smallest movement in either direction can equate to high percentage. Its about direction of travel over an extended period and perception of market mood, half a penny here ot there means v little, despite the fact percentage wise it looks significant.

That's absolute nonsense Anon,potentially it's a money maker,potentially it could go bust because they are a debt ridden bunch of inefficient cowboys. Like you say yourself we have been watching it for a long time and all it's delivered is stoppages, raises ,increasing debt and a never ending promise of jam tomorrow. If you had 50 thousands pounds worth of these,you obviously have much more money than sense. Why would anyone put that on this crap. I understand having a flutter, a quid each way on an outsider in the national, but you don't put good money on outsiders

We all know what the silence means. It means more failures. If they have done well there is absolutely no reason nor to let us know they have done well now. In fact there is every reason to let us know if that we're the case, we are overdue. They could easily update us at a later date to let let us know exactly how well.

Yes they did release bad news,because that's all they had to release. If they had any good news now they would surely be very keen to let everyone know. Everyone likes a pat on the back for doing well. If they had done well, they would be telling you.
