Absolutely not unusual for the ex divi selling to push the price a little below the value of the divi, esp in a small cap. So i don't think any disagreement here really ironnut (except for those who could start an argument with themselves and are probably old enough to know better!).

Whether the CEO and the strategy for OMG are correct or not is certainly moot, and i think people who invested at ~100p have a right to question why the SP has drifted. I for one remain sanguine at 53p though.

I think not Jiving, i the market value of this over a very long period of time tells us that.

I feel like i've been here plenty of times when everything felt lined up and meaningful… . But generally it's just the usual AIM bullcrapo. a bit of steady selling, a bit of excitement ahead of possible news, then a quick lift once the supply dries up. Seen that film a few times before. … does it really need to be anything more complicated than that? Isn’t AIM speculation massively more likely as the explanation, rather than 'pegging' etc? Would absolutely love to be wrong and wake up to something special though.

I would imagine that some of the more recent buying prices the divi in (ex on 12th) but clear the longer term trend is upwards.

This has taken a while to start to tick up after the RNS earlier in the week... Certainly undervalued and good value at this price.

Pretty up-front results and set of analysis. Can't see any diversions here. Not great but not as bad as it looks is my take-home.

MC looks very soft indeed but at least the SM business is growing. I expect a small drop today.

Very interesting indeed. Atypical for Everblue. On the face of it, it looks like a punt based on their considering a possible near to medium term re-rating. Seatbelts on perhaps?

I don't really disagree with any of the comments here, despite those who just want to make an argument out of nothing. I'll patiently wait for ex divi day now and i would expect a slow climb upwards back towards the ~50-55p range. Vicon isn't going to go away my friends.......

And the generous dividend and buy back could infer (1) they have no idea what to spend their money on or (2) they feel competitively well placed already. It is likely a bit of both!

Yes agreed. They apparently had a '5 year growth plan' after the sale of Yotta in 2022. which is where the pile originates from (seemed a sensible decision at the time). The CEO Imogen Moorhouse appointed soon afterwards presumably due to the VICON focus. Very little evidence of ambition or improvement - 3 fairly conservative acquisitions that don't appear to have borne any fruit since 2023. She's an internal appointee - all chums together. This leads one to ask is she the right person to properly grow this company? But in defence, if you look across the sector OMG performance is pretty similar to other companies. I'm hoping the market will become more favourable so 40p as a longer term bet on the sector in general based on a quality technology .

Glad to see some chat here. I took a punt at 40p on nothing more than not much more than guessing a minimum was reached and with familiarity with the VICON product (it's very good). I think the intended buy back (both of them together) is around 10-15% of outstanding shares? Correct me if i'm wrong. I'm not sure we've escaped the profit warning period yet - i'd probably give it another 2-3 weeks, but perhaps the market is reacting optimistically on Sept dragging on with no news released.

Somewhat confused at the market reaction to these results - presumably the expectation was better than this, but with basket prices so high (and rising) future earnings should be much, much higher. Perhaps there are better opportunities elsewhere at present

I paid 21p for these 5 years ago. I cannot believe that i actually made my money back.

I was a previous shareholder in RRE and did well. I have been watching on and off for about four years without buying in. Just had a bit of cash to invest, it looked like it had bottomed out and had twitched recently. So took a punt.

Maybe others have done the same recently?

Just took a look in here. I bought at about 20p in 2020. Never thought I'd see my money back again. at least i'm down 50% rather than >90% now. I never trust these mining companies - OMI included - so hoping I might break even and get out quick. Well done to those of you who jumped on the boat at the 2p level.
