Well looking at the bigger picture, with copper & iron ore prices continuing to look robust and improving, MGR results especially September's should look good, much improved, year on year. Rig money into our JV Offshore yard due, hopefully shortly and possibly other developments/projects, I'm happy to hold. But like you say, very quiet at present! I view www.tradingeconomics site for live up-to-date commodity prices.

Delayed 100k Buy from Friday, reported this morning. Could be a blue day. I'm forecasting 50p plus in day of Rig sale. Then it'll be interesting other developments Amed have; taken a greater investment in the Copper mine, is a 'given' in the short-term, I believe.

Exactly Rhines. Presumably, he thought he'd found a 'hotter stock' less than 2 trading hours after he'd bought! Nice read & find howdlep. Like my earlier post, the outlook looks increasingly positive. Although I've read recently that copper & iron ore prices may dip later in the year, as more substantial global supplies come on board, Trump's(and China's) huge building plans will keep the prices & demand buoyant, I believe, in future years.

I like the sound of today's RNS; makes perfect sense. This MGR business is really looking increasingly progressive, and should provide healthy returns looking long term. A ready supply of copper, to compliment the Iron ore. Only a week or so ago(as mentioned here) I was wishing AMED would look into investing into another project(for some other revenue fix) I hadn't realised it would be so soon! With this outlay(with option to increase) and the recent loan to MGR once again, they must be confident of Rig sale monies to 'top-up' their bank balance/sheet too. Suddenly looking a brighter future here. Someone took a cheeky nice 41K there, before close. Onwards and upwards!

Recent sells, I guess it's just impatient P.I's tempted away, seeking other opportunities/the latest 'hot stock'. Hardly an avalanche! Interesting perspective from respected & long term holder Bowood on iii. 'I don't think it's just about the rig. The yard made a profit in the first half and with the resourse sector set to improve maybe MRG can turn round. It is highly operationally geared and should perform well on any upturn. Also there is substantial cash (about 12p a share) that could be used for further investment and no doubt substantial other cash resourses that could be made available. 2017 could well see AMED one of the star performers'. Personally, I'd like to see Amed this year, invest in another 'project/interest' to add to their portfolio. Maybe lithium based as that is expected to take-off due to electric cars growth, going forward.

Forget 26.70p, now jumped a penny to buy; 27.70p with a premium price of 27.88p above 10K.

Well iii(ii interactive investor) had Amed finishing with a spread if 21-28, with a mid of 24.50p. I suspect we'll open up with an offer price of near 28p, first trading day after Xmas, and be above 30p once again, in the New Year.

Were back to more 'familiar grounds' once again, where MM's are happy to take on large amounts at a measly 18.20p but won't allow you to buy greater than 10k at 20.75p other than it goes to Negotiated Order. We've been taken down on miniscule volume of sells and one suspects, it won't take much buying to reverse. How long it takes our customer to raise the required cash(or alternative customer, if in the event, the original one is unable) 'how long is a piece of string'!!! The Proactive.. write up suggested not that long. As for finding rig employees, a month or so, as a guess. Let's hope it all works out. Merry Christmas!!!
