Chance to top-up Mr_Big!
Looks too cheap to me. No existing major liabilities so there should be plenty of funding options, possibly even from one of the OEM deals they have struck over the last year. (Fibrehome wouldn't want Ethernity to be struggling). Hopefully everything that is just around the corner turns up.
I've always been happy to receive the dividend over the past few years, same again in October hopefully.
But they halved the dividend in January and then cancelled it altogether in May... so we will probably have to wait until next year for a proper recovery even if the oil price doubles.
Depends what your 10k is worth on paper today...
If you invested with the IPO at 150+ or even in February last year at 70-80 then you're in a bad place... There's already been a kind of 'administration' which is why the share price is where it is.. and if you bought in recently, then ask yourself why? And if the answer is 'I dunno' then probaby best cash out. If you want to stay invested then go back 18 months and check the RNS history of what happened.
I'm reasonably happy to top-up anywhere under 2p for this share.
You mean good to see them online?
I was pleased to see the in-store cases of RedLeg & Coke had been ravaged and almost picked clean in my local big Morrisons.
Erm, go to the ESL website and read the AGM notification to shareholders? There are more details on each resolution there.
Resolutions are being proposed at the AGM:(i) for the re-appointment of all of our directors as required by our articles of association and in line with best practice(ii) to give the board authority to issue shares;(iii) to give the board authority to disapply pre-emption rights (in limited circumstances); (iv) to authorise the Company to repurchase its own shares (in limited circumstances); and (v) to authorize the Company to make political donations.
Be good to see what they come up with.. never really figured how a 2m accounting error led to a 300m drop in Mcap.
What a great update.. excellent news.
Very happy with the update.
No need eddie, I've posted here on ESL for a couple of years now (unlike you) and I'm very painfully aware of the situation the company is now in.
At these low prices it could well be worth an investment.. but for those holders from before the dodgy accounting disaster.. yes there is still a bitter taste..
I truly hope ESL does well and keeps on rising.. and in the meantime I might scramble around trading it in order to reduce my overall average.
It's just how it is.
I have a lot of money stuck in here from before it suddenly stopped trading and believe me I would love nothing more than to see the SP rise and rise.
Who: Is all the day traders that are all over this like flies.
Why: Because this isn't Eddie Stobbart anymore, it's a cash shell that now owns less than half of ESL and ESL has been lumbered with an extortionate loan by Dbay.
"We maintain our commitment to paying the dividend of 2.75 pence per share during 2020, as previously announced. However, given the current uncertainties in the global economy, the Board has decided to postpone these dividend payments until the macro environment becomes clearer."
Interesting to read todays 'intention to float' literature from the British Honey Co where there is mention of further collaboration with Distil on a possible London Distillery.
All sounds good..
I think the JV suits both companies perfectly, looking forward to seeing and tasting what they come up with..
It's not taking much to move the price.. I might have to grab some more.
Recycling Oil - with the technology, plant & equipment in place who could possibly fail?.. especially over the last few years of climate wars.
It's just painful.
