We have to wait until GH is out - his last 9m options exercised last week at 2p we’re not due to expire until sept 2022 - so in my opinion he exercised them as part of his strategy to sell out his complete position - his choice and it was obvious he would do so - I mean you don’t leave a business that you’re running and leave your cash in another’s hands (SD) - once he’s finished we can all move onwards and upwards!

At the moment Newcrest hold all the negotiation cards ....the reason we held back 100% ownership of Scallywag and Rudall in the Paterson is when hopefully GGP discover another tier 1 (big ask but location and expertise is on our side) then we will have some negotiation leverage.

Newcrest will NOT buy out GGP’s share of Havieron before any decision to mine is announced and the mine can be attributed a balance sheet value regardless of available capital - as for buying out the whole of GGP, in my opinion this will never happen given their very attractive JV’s.

thats exactly what I did ...I reconciled from the rns....there was an error in the year end audited accounts but only on the exercise price...the sums always added up.....so you are wrong to say you only go on the res's...had you done so you would have know that there was only 9m left.....whilst you don't have to like some posters to the extend you will post abuse....my advice is before doing so make sure your research is up to date! To be fair DGR1980...SD does NOT have a CEO background...GGP is his first notable CEO appointment....that said he has my support and trust to maximise shareholder value....At this stage in GGP's growth "Finance" is a key factor and SD has plenty of experience to keep up with all the outstanding opportunities we have at GGP. ATB

To be fair TMT - the price dropped after it was announced that GH was leaving (15th December)- scallywag of course did not help but it took a few weeks for the market to react to GH leaving....just my opinion. ATB
