Sorry, I missed where it said in the original placing that this was a 100% guaranteed... it didn't did it!... We are all in the same boat (longboat) - hopefully we all make some money on the success of the company - Everyone here could have bought last week at 80p or less...I topped up at 1.30 at the highs and still happy with an ave of 80p

Paul, given the markets..indeed the current environment , I actually think LBE have with this deal looked after it's shareholders by providing them/us with significant opportunity - the alternative was far far worse in the current market.....I agree with everyone here that we need "bolt on producing assets" but the management will only do so when they see accretive assets to enhance shareholder value. Have trust in the management or sell your position if you can! ATB

15m sterling investment to be involved in a £180m pre tax exploration program of 7 wells. with 3 major players..........please tell me I'm missing something because I can't see it - not for want on finding any downside.

100% agreed - we all invested just before COVID-19 the global pandemic that not only killed 100’s of thousands of loved ones (which is obviously more important) but also knocked the global economy for six - the oil and gas industry more so due to global lock downs - so forward 18months forward and the lBE management team have against all odds delivered a low cost (low risk) high returns opportunity - they know what they are doing which is why I/we invested in them

Family offices, HNW individuals and Instiruional investors are not in the business of gambling - this is a measured risk which will become apparent to those failing to comprehend this opportunity

Shame many here feel the way they do- for me, this now offers to best returns. Watch this space l!

GGP CEO SD will be more than happy with that note (that’s why he brought them onboard) as much needed to set investor expectations and provides him with a realistic starting point for growth under his stewardship and whilst conservative this is only for Havieron (no premium for GGP other tenements)- for SD to deliver his goals of multi-asset multi-billion company we need to strike elsewhere in the district !

Mozza- no you are incorrect on the total cash available - the EFF acts as a bridging loan to assist cash flow requirement on the time lapse on receiving back the 78% tax refunds

1) £5.5M net (after 78% tax rebates) farm-in acquisition cost (executed by way of cost carry)
2) £6.8M net (after 78% tax rebates) LBE share of exploration costs
3) £3.0M estimated corporate costs, EFF finance costs and other seismic data cost

Providing access to near term exploration drilling on7-8 wells with an estimated total gross £180m drilling budget. The 78% Norwegian government tax rebates are pivotal in this strategy along with a tie-up with 3 major operators which should not be under estimated when moving forward with other producing asset acquisitions.

Frustrating for those wanting to flip on re-list but in my honest opinion this is a HODL now!

I think the Institutional investors will want reassurance on tandem producing deals and what further cash will be needed to propel LBE in to the significant North Sea-focused E&P business it wants to be.

We need Investors to stay for the course and not look to flip especially when warrants are involved...no doubt they won't want to be diluted too much either...and to be fair Longboat no doubt would have already taken opinion before hand needing to get the deal authorised by existing shareholders...and lets not forget compared to the original float and by the time operations would be wound down if its not passed we would already be sitting on between a 25-30% loss.
