They're now showing 50 stores on the Polish consumers website store locator, so hopefully the sp will not continue its downward path for too much longer. Had a top up at these prices as I am firmly of the opinion that overall, this share is going to be a lot higher than it is today, but I am holding for the long term (minimum 5 years). Dave

The union are a bunch of muppets. This strike vote should have been watertight, but the arses aren't capable it seems of even making sure of that. I was a member of the union until the recent Labour leadership contest, when the CWU gave their backing to Jeremy Corbyn, whom I consider to be extremely dangerous because of his unilateralist nuclear disarmament views. Now that they have to go through mediation, if that doesn't settle anything presumably there will need to be another strike ballot to get a legal strike. What a waste of time and money, I am glad that I am no longer paying these incompetents union fees.

An article in the NYT says that Poland may in the next few years be the next country to be counted as being a wealthy economy by the IMF. Now have 46 stores, should hopefully easily get to 50 by the year end. Opole is a city of approximately 128 000 inhabitants in the west of Poland. Hope that the trading update shows everything is on track. Dave

I don't know for certain but I believe it is what you first put that it is in effect a director share buy at the placing price, in this case of 43p. Dave

The 2 new ones are in Lublin (population of approx 350 000) and Rzeszow with approx 187 000 inhabitants. Think it is going to take a while before we see 60p again but we will get there and way beyond, it will just take time. I'm still firmly of the opinion that DPP are a great share for the future.

The past few days we have had a sea of sells and the sp stayed constant, today with buys supposedly significantly outstripping sells we're down approx 5 per cent.

You say today that you invested at £1.20, yet in a previous post on Jan 5th you wrote that you "looked at the sp in March but left it till Aug when I found out what I needed to know", which presumably means that was when you initially invested. By August the sp was a minimum of £1.47. So which price did you actually invest at? Also if you believe the sp is going to go much higher than £10.50, why sell at that price?
