Is it a coincidence that JBER has came on as new MM and the price has stayed within a few pence on the bid for several days. Buys and sells on this platform only come to around 500,000 but the cumulative is over 865,000 on level 2 (see below). Tried to find out anything about JBER, Berenberg, German Investment bank, started being a MM in 2015. They also seem to have appeared when we have at least one big buyer, could they be facilitating this while we think PEEL is the driver behind the sells. Id love to know more about that side of trading/investing

Cepheid is already owned by Danaher, bought for $4 billion in 2016. Below part of a news report, this shows that a buy out is certainly possible.

Danaher has bought over 400 companies since 1984, report date 2016 so be more now.
