Just to clarify, Ygen don't supply to Boots direct. They used to supply PCR tests into MHC, who then supplied into Boots.

Giz. The only reason the FDA are involved is because one of the bigger outfits got caught shall we say massaging the accuracy of their Nipt tests. I don't think Ygen have any such problem. What they state is what you get.

I believe in time Nipt will be a much smaller part of revenue anyway. Oncology, vaccines and others will lead the way .

Giz, Nipt is very much going forward in the US, why do you think Ambry have introduced it to their wellness portfolio? Also, why are all the insurance companies in the US now reimbursing Nipt test costs!

Ranger is accurate and offers a walkaway advantage, so you can pop the cassette in and walkaway and do other things.

However, I do think Ranger is the jewel so to speak and I think Ncyt might think so too.

Exmex. I believe it also has something to do with the glass collection tubes. The manufacturer of the glass tubes wasn't entirely honest with Labcorp about it's patent infringement with Ravgen.

This is where Ranger tech and EDTA plastic tubes will score for Ncyt/Ygen. It does the same job at a fraction of the cost also .

There was also another big player in litigation because they were telling porkies about it's Nipt tests accuracy, hence the FDA involvement . A bit like that Elizabeth Holmes character.

Ygen's Iona Nipt test hasn't any such problems as far as I know.

Captain, Ygen)Rees basically gave multi millions away to MHC because he has a interest there. Couldn't be bothered to do it in house, so needs to be watched.

Also very slow in updating labs to get more lucrative govt testing contracts. He originally said he couldn't be at ar sed doing that either , then voilà a year later he does it.

So with a competent and straight CEO in charge Ygen wouldn't be in the position he put them in and had millions more in the bank.

Mind you Ncyt CEO was a bad un too wasn't he?
