We do not know the performance characteristics of the covid testing,it has never been RNS'd - all we have is the professor's repeated mantra on twitter.
We do not know if it will continue on to gain the required regulatory certifications,although we are told we have gone from over 70 possible suitors to zero in quick order.
The sepsis and bladder work is very much in its infancy and I would hope people learn to careful when reading about its progress.
Phasefocus is probably the next chance to see a return in value.

New variant is already in the UK,much reported a number of weeks ago,surveillance testing shows it quite prevalent in the south.It does seem to be more transmissible but about the same consequences in health outcomes.

Looks like someone who has been playing around in his garden shed - not the inspiration and confidence building newsflow required.

It's not that the Prof wants to avoid releasing sensitive information.My issue is the validity of the tweets - it is not in his interest to diss his own research,he will still need funding and still needs to uphold a scientific reputation.
So far nothing has been RNS'd to suggest a proof of concept that is either medically certified or commerciable.

Sorry to be vague and probably burst your bubble,but it's a case of how long us a piece of string.

Depends if you are a large multi national pharmaceutical company with a wealth of resources and workforce or you are a small research laboratory linked to a university and you have to organise the day between development and lecturing.

As with the covid test,they will always want to improve thresholds of detection,expand the array of detection and have to prove the concept.

I expect it will always be on track and always be being improved.

We'll have to wait for the new twitter strap line from the professor.

Been looking at the refinancing in september ( and cancellation of previous agreement).Would I be right in that any outstanding warrants (quite a lot) are on a price point of about 0.5p.

Due to poor ceo communication we don't know of any fundamentals.

We have one contract which was at best vague,then unfulfilled,and now being renegotiated.(we think).

We have various suppliers from large corporates to individuals working out of their garage - We have no information of sales,costs or profits.

We don't know the companies cash position.
We don't know the companies cash burn.
We don't know the state of play of JV's and global partners.
We don't know the development stage of "a number of possible product applications".

All we have is speculation,speculation and hope

I agree kirkstall and phasephocus are proven and there merits can/ will prove positive to brh.I am aware of paraytec actipix system,although i think that was developed out of York University.
The risk/reward of paraytec now looks like its going to be binary,in that paraytec will be sold or won't be due to the failure of the concept.I would have liked a bit more progress to have been cascaded to investors.No updates on how good our covid tests detects the different variants,no updates on how they are going to improve the bladder cancer test and it would seem the sepsis testing is very much just in early development.
I am sure we could win big here,but I wish for more than prof smythe twitter mantra or just one of TB's magnificent 70 to come good.

My concern is still that most scientists go through their careers with little or no breakthroughs,very few manage to monetise,commercialise or make much difference to mainstream life.
We have been fed the twitter strap line for months from the professor and from the management the dangle of 70 interested parties. - but we never hear of successful data,certifications, MoU to have any confidence.
Until there is any positive news if will be sold into by private investors and that is before any of TB and FAB antics.

If/when there is news about an agreement,any ideas if it would be released by the normal RNS route or would they suspend the share prior to the release?
