it is now a minnows favourite, cheap liquid stock that gets press......

Lloy is now faced with a far greater crisis than that of 2008/9, much worse. Too many crucial dates coming up in Oct that may well have a negative impact on the SP;
Therefore its he 9yr old 23.8 gap that one needs to be concerned with its the ones that are yet to be created below that....
Any confirmation as such, of the already known about news in the wild which the markets dont like, such as No Deal, Furlough ending, National Lockdown then i would expect an Unthinkable Low...

if the Unthinkable Low happens then i would fully expect a massive consolidation to be announced in the new year unless a merger, takeover is forthcoming....

So yes, Time is running out.....

You dont know how true that statement is, it is a known fact that when Short position is placed it can flag up all manner of facts as well as other players. I did state this at the time but was met with the usual diatribe....

Also at some point the Short Position has to be bought bought back, closed, therefore i can understand recent movement that Marshall wace action...

LTI, actually i can, but i think most PI's are prepared now.

Always stated October will be bad...normally the month that gets the bad rep when actually history will show Sept is far worse, this time around though maybe Oct gets to live up to that rep.....

they only things i can see that will lift the markets is a massive stimulus plan, Furlough ext, EU/UK deal..

Market NOT expecting BoE to announce negative rates...

Nov & Dec will also be tough months lots of window dressing for end year re-balancing.

DC, I agree. i only copied that post so other could see that they have a couple of days to get the predictions in...

I see lloy did not attempt to close the gap down, 4hr, created in the previous session. TA /charts looking very bearish, MACD & Parabolic SAR are very bearish... other banks, Barc, Nwg have broken key support levels which are now resistance levels.

i will post my Lloy prediction ove the weekend but when you consider that Barc has the potential to hit the 50's and NWG to hit 70's then i don't expect much from Lloy...
