economy will be in the toilet if restrictions don't work, i would expect a full lockdown mid Oct....

Giving it time to see if it works, I hope so, but I think we know it won't as the rules had always been abused by the few, this delay also gives other tactics / roles that will be used next time around enough time to get organised, DYOR...

what impact n Lloyds, banking sector, will this impact on businesses, staff and the economy when there had already been talk of Pubs making staff redundant...?
If these restrictions do NOT bring the R number down will the UK go into full lockdown, as first initially thought, planned for Oct.
so are we to take todays actions, announcement as a precursor, warning...?

BoE want a solution to Furlough, another U-Turn maybe. I would think this again hinges on whether or not the R number comes down; therefore what is the incentive for the young adults to obey restrictions, apart from protecting the NHS, the vulnerable, as it appears this had not happened to date....

what is the timescales of these latest restrictions if they work, is it 6 months?
