It's all unknowns, uncertainty which again plays into the hands of hedge funds such as Marshall wace...
Even with a UK/EU deal things are not exactly looking great, property is over price and in dire need of a correction, UK unemployment had yet to hit the system as these latest schemes come with caveats whereas the the furlough scheme was open to Royal family..!
Lots of means testing will be off putting to many companies...

Patrao1, Then you know it will not end well for Robin Hood traders, Mom'n'Pop, lockdown traders ( using Trumps helicopter drops to trade).....
I like to think the UK savers are a bit more savvy and risk adverse i think hey will go cash, cash is king, as these people will see the warning signs, after all them cuts had been severe...so the saver will read the road ahead, too risky.

I think the opening sentence covers it, unless Lloyds wants take up Rishi offer they can resume Divi, the only caveat is that Lloy need the PRA blessing first; however this is also subject to the economic outlook over the next six months which tbh is looking very bearish in fact its looking as bare as a bear with no fur ....

I do not see how the PRA, BoE can lift the ban when they don't even know how the next 4>6 months is going to play out.

NS&I slashing rates, BoE still not totally ruling out negative rates, as there evidence states that the results of neg rates are a mix bag, well to date the Govt schemes, businesses, Brexit is already producing a mixed bag of results....

I notice you don’t pull up some of the positives that I have posted, such as takeover, mergers opportunities or even for Lloy to be bought out or does this not fit your remit… ?

So what is your opinion with regards to the banking system as a whole, USA, China, or other banking systems such as the situation in Hong Kong whereby the banking system relative to GDP = 850%..?
Surely you being a seasoned investor who only deals with current events and not “ifs and buts.”, would find this of some concern. "contagion"?
Also what do you think of annihilation of rates recently @ NS&I..? do you think this is a precursor or the BoE to introduce negative rates, if not why ..?
