with regards to insider dealings it always used to be 2 months or one months gap needed depending on the info. But no notice for acquisitions

Not sure what gap is needed between purchase and any deal being announced. It's just over a month before they need to ask for an extension, so wondering if timing of the purchase is to allow a month

Director buy - good to see director has confidence to buy 300,000 on the 22nd.

Hopefully a deal and some action imminent, trades showing it's stirring

Just bought in. Was recommended by iii in one of their winter portfolios, stocks chosen to hold for 6 months over the winter. Apparently this time of year is normally a low. In the last 10 years it's risen on 9 out of 10 occasions between Nov 1 and april 30.

Yes is a very welcome sudden change. Hopefully the start of a trend. The figures show now trading at a discount again, as it had actually started to trade recently at a premium which is unusual

So rise yesterday in share price was from 17.75 to 19.625 10.56% rise, whilst nav increased 16.6%

The 16.6 % gain in nav in the rns refers to yesterday's gain.

Annoyed at missing this, been watching this for ages, wanted buy last week but got distracted. Think still a good buy in price

As you say ii's involved, plus broker appointed and rns to widen prospective targets makes you think something is imminent that doesn't quite fit original brief. One would suspect it's a good opportunity worth altering the original brief to get hold of.

It's not really surprising it's gone back down, like we said earlier the 300m� is just a good faith payment, still lots to sort out and and least 50% will ownership by the dodgy government ....the chairman of barrick didn't look a happy man during the announcement

The chairman of Barrick looked in real pain at certain points of the announcement he was making. Especially when he was sucking up to the president saying what a great deal it was, one of best in the world lol

Yes the wording was that �300m is an interim payment in good faith whilst negotiations to sort out a final agreement take place

I like this play on silver and gold, am not in and present just following the gold price and waiting. What I like is it's a very well run, efficient company, with great reserves and best of all it's in a stable country. Not Africa where almost anything can happen any moment.
