contrarian - I've explained this so many times but the data JTMacs quotes is from the LSE site.

what the LSE site does is take the mid point of the bid and the ask at the time of the trade and if its above the mid point, terms it a buy, below a sell.

that's why he says some crazy stupid stuff like 'buys outweigh sells' on 6% down days.

ha! I don't have 500k with IG unfortunately but I do have a pro account. £500k is a lot to SB with.

I've had one since the limit was lower (£250k I think) and they've just honored it for a few years since.

look - this share is all about two questions:

1. do you believe in the company? and
2. are you OK with volatility in the short/medium term?

if yes to both, then invest.

I, frankly, don't know enough about the company, its strategy and its leadership to make a call on 1.

on 2 my answer is no so I'm out on this.

but that's just me. everyone is in a different position.

GT4RACER - this is one of the worst posts I've ever seen. Future markets aren't open over the weekend and they don't get at all reflective of the Monday ahead until about 2 hours before open.

to extrapolate from such arbitrary numbers is just...

big red day on Monday on ftse and US but to be fair, that doesn't mean AML will defo sink. could bounce and ignore the markets.
