I think, unfortunately, we need to accept that there will be no typical holidays this year unfortunately, not the TUI bread and butter stuff anyway.

If you're holding this for the long term recovery, you'll do fine but otherwise, it's going to be a tough year now I think. I don't think there's much that I can foresee that will shift this upwards in the coming months.

I will be holding out until 250/260 at the earliest to buy this back. This will be put under pressure from shorters now I think.

You do all realise that this will just end up going into administration don't you? And de-listing?

scotlouie - yes exactly this. It's very rare that shares go up 100% on the day on news because:

A) the news will, to some extent, always be factored in in the days/weeks leading up to it (why do you think we've seen such a big rise here?)

and

B) people take profit. 20, 30, 50% all tasty to take for a day's rise.

So if this SP goes to £1.20, say, before approval then it won't do 100% on the day IMO.

But if it's down at 75 for any reason then it might do.

There are shares that have bagged or more on news but they're rare.

I mean ask yourselves: is FDA approval relatively likely? If so, it'll be factored into the sp to some extent at some point before it happens. If you think it will be a bolt out of the blue, then it won't be factored in to the same extent.

Don't EVER use these kinds of ETF - just SB/trade options instead if you want leverage.

The only thing I use them for is baskets of shares I don't have easy access to e.g. Indonesian shares

Yeah I don't think FDA approval is factored into the SP here at all - I think it's too early.

On approval I expect it will spike 10-30% depending on where the SP's got to by then.

But I think that may be a while away yet - these things take time AND throw covid into the mix.

I'm 100% not deramping - I've given you the reasons I've sold out for now... because I think it'll dip back and I'll buy back in.

If you call that 'deramping' then you're just being childish I'm afraid.

this is a great company, with amazing prospects and I entirely understand why people invest in here and haven't sold along the way. But I have chosen to take profit and HOPE to buy back in lower. And, that's what it is, HOPE. There's no reason for this to dip apart from people taking profit and TA. But I think that's reason enough to chance it.

It's incredible how immature some people on these boards are and how emotional they are about their shares. It's a discussion board for....discussing opinions.

From what I understand we could be a little way off yet from FDA approval? Like March/April? I see lots of time between now and then for a reentry.

It could go from here to 100/110 before it retraces but I think 90-ish will prove a resistance and 83 will get retested and that means free shares if I'm right.

But for most of you, it matters not a jot as you're in it for the long haul so I'll shut up and let you know when I'm back in.

For transparency, I'm now all out and will look to scale back in at 80-85.

I looked at the chart and couldn't resist taking the risk.

I'm 100% up at the levels I've sold so if I miss out on more profit, I'll just have to hold my hands up.

But - this has gone up a LOT in the last month and I think there will be a pull back as there always is. It just depends where it gets to before pulling back.

I will keep an eye on this and look for reentry 85 and below. GLA
