RICH3R, I have a bit of a skill for seeing the lows. But where I struggle is having the patience to sell at highs - I'm really working on my discipline. When I identify a price as a target, it's usually the high or aroundabouts but I always take profit too early.

I'm getting better but the last 9 months alone (post covid dip) I reckon I've left about £250k on the table selling too early (TSLA, GLEN, KAZ to name the biggest).

Must improve.

I think we will have another buying opp at around 75 before it breaches 86 meaningfully.

£10k at 27.4-sih. Enough for now. Will see what goes on - probably add at 24, 22 and 20 if it goes down.

Colonel - while I don't disagree with you in principle, in reality I've seen LOADS of shares that have been bought up by instis at a certain level and then seen them lose 50/75%. I've seen it ten times at least.

You've got to remember that these big players take risks and they have a hugely varied and diversified portfolio - they WILL lose some, they understand that. The difference between them and us is that they manage hundreds of millions/billions and they just need their winners to slightly beat their losers and they make millions.

Sorry - to be clear, I don't think that this will hit 12p again!

I think on bad news, 18/20 acts as support?

Tiger - yes, fair enough. you may be right. It could be that a deal is on the cards but I'm not sure about taking the risk.

I did not think I'd get a chance to buy back in at these levels and am tempted but my spidey sense is telling me to hold back.

I would also suggest that another market-wide meltdown could well be on the cards... I think everyone can agree that the markets are HUGELY inflated by QE at the moment. I don't think it ended well last time....

Forget about SOLG for a minute, I think that all shares will come under fire at some point - I just don't know when! I have a feeling though that it's pretty soon. Maybe Feb....

I think that this has got bad news leak written all over it I'm afraid... was looking for 25 but I'm sitting this one out. if it rockets, then fair play ill just miss out.

question is what would the sp do on bad news? what's the downside here? it was at 12p back in March.... that's just too big a risk for me.

yes exactly - it was just people getting in for the big rise they know is coming. got sold into.

150 is first target I think.

iron hide - yeah agreed. I find it encouraging too. the way it reacted to that drop was very strong imo. I think it's obvious this climbs from here. but mms will treeshake and take stops out.

So.... I think 125+ will get attempted again today at 230-430.

Some people got royally screwed here then. What a circus AIM is.

I really think we need to see this as a buying opp.

I think the lowest it'll go today is 112/113 and I'm going to buy a whole chunk more.

As soon as the markets turn it'll rocket again.

I think that today is not a good day across the board - difficult to hold onto gains. FTSE is really under pressure.

It may be that the US markets stabilise a little and we see a bit of a bounce but right now, it's dark across the board.

Good time to top up.... I think 115 is a steal if you can get it.
