Born, your knightclub act is so predictable. The only thing you understand is your self interest.
Both Empire and Tambo have similar one month charts https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=AJOqlzUCXqR-kvLBAtpzsiEo2HAq-hnLSQ:1677695720830&q=OTCMKTS:+TBNRF&stick=H4sIAAAAAAAAAONgecRowS3w8sc9YSn9SWtOXmPU5OIKzsgvd80rySypFJLmYoOyBKX4uXj10_UNDYuScyxyDE3NeRax8vmHOPt6hwRbKYQ4-QW5AQANOP0xTgAAAA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjHuOzLr7v9AhVlHjQIHeZuBaEQsRV6BAhhEAI&biw=1280&bih=569&dpr=1.5

New, I'd be okay if you filter me out. I've been in and out of FOG for more years than I would admit to. Heck, like a moth to a flame I'd still like to be a buyer, but I am not self delusional after all these years investing in the NG sector. Sadly, if you look at all the Bruner companies all you see is wreckage and ruination. UPL??? World class resource and taken from over $100 to bankruptcy by a corrupt CEO. I think there are few industries that have more skullduggery than the exploration minors. To overlook the nature of the beast is not a wise position to take.
Villa, I am so cynical that I'd suggest the first unit FOG decides NOT to participate in will be the unit that TAMBO spends many years in. I doubt BS didn't figure out a way to make POQ's masterful negotiation also FOG's demise.....
Villa, If they are pleased with their production there is no reason for them to stop drilling until they have drilled a lot more than 10 wells. They could spend years in that block while FOG burns through their G&A and faces a capital raise, which I'm sure BS would be involved in.
Wet, and this is a surprise???
I think it is easier to cope with FOG if you view it as a call leap on Tambo.
I know most all here are thrilled with the news and the opportunity to buy shares at less than one cent above the 52 week low. But, I have to wonder why all of Brian's contacts and rich friends aren't gobbling up shares in the Market here. Anyone else wonder about that? BTW, I'd guess they are patiently waiting for TAMBO to list in the US.
newto, I'm happy for you that you are confident. Best of luck.
Thanks for the link. Listening to his explanation of FOG's option not to participate in a 10 section development seems like FOG has set itself up to be frozen out of many years of development, as BS/Tambo can concentrate on just that pro-rationed until for decades. Yes, and I think that is EXACTLY what they would do.
new, the only thing one can be sure of at this point is that Tambo/BS have no desire to help FOG go forward. So, even though folks argue that FOG would continue to move forward under Tambo, I am absolutely sure they will be making no concessions to FOG to facilitate FOG's existence.
Guernica, I'd rather see a real mid tier oil company than Irish money guys.
dprussky,
l think you are a little too optimistic. FOG is thrashing about with sharks circling. Origin obviously tried to shop the deal Worldwide and ended with a couple of fast and loose Yanks, and I just don't see POQ getting any respect when knocking on any reputable doors--especially considering the lack of cash he is walking in with... all in all a terrible negotiating position to be in. Just thinking about it, I'd guess the FOG BOD meetings are a bit heated.
Oleo, certainly when talking "majors" you are talking bureaucracy. It's hard to make an elephant sprint. POQ needs some breathing room and his only way to get that is through the courts. Ugh, it will be a tough slog to go against Origin in a court of law.
schlemiel, Any idea what it would cost and how long it would take to go through the Ozzy Courts?
Sasol left the Beetaloo perhaps not so much due to the prospect, but perhaps due to Origin. Now, with Origin pretty much out of the decision process, Sasol could come back in and in doing so would gain not only the Beetaloo, but more importantly for them the Karoo. Sad to say, the Mako is pretty much a "never going to happen" deal, as the production license will expire before anything could be put together to go back and give it another shot.
gonoles, I think the love affair with the experience Brian brought to the table pretty much evaporated with this latest turn of events. This Machiavellian maneuver where our "White Knight" member of the BOD pretty much has muddied FOG's path forward. How will FOG stay in the game when it comes to finding funding whilst trading in penny land with a billion shares? I think we aren't too far from seeing Tambo's place holder stock symbol finds its way on the pinks and FOLGF is questionable. Brian is playing chess and FOG is playing Chinese Checkers. I think I know who will win.
fracme,
I particularly liked your thought:
"Sheffield and the boys in getting this sweet deal may be their own executioners as the pre emptive rights allow Falcon see the deal and go to market to shop it around and at another 50m for Falcon it's still value for someone like Santos."
