newto, I can certainly see why you would favor Santos over Inpex and it would look to be a best outcome for FOG. I think POQ must feeling a little vulnerable if all these negotiations between a BOD member and Tambo were without his knowledge. I've got my popcorn and waiting for the next act.
newto, hmmm, makes me think of Porsche v. Volkswagen. So, stranger things have happened. Inpex??? They certainly have deep pockets, and if they **** away a couple of hundred million it won't cause anyone at HQ to commit seppuku...
Oilcountry, I wonder how Tambo and Brian are describing FOG to buddies they are wanting to come aboard..... I suspect they'll just say they won't be along a lot longer and we'll pick up their share at a fire sale price. Certainly they won't give POQ much weight. And, they could have picked a better day when the Market isn't closed to make the announcement. The fact that you are closed and the US is open seems to say something about emphasis and respect.
One can only wonder how much FOG will have to raise to stay in the game for another 3 years....
Uncle, everything in Tambo's NR was obfuscation and silliness.
Oleo, thank you for the link and comment. Sadly, I'm on the Bank's side on this, but I'm old and have no offspring to Will my shares to.....
Oleo, thanik you for your comment! Can you explain what "Tamboran has booked 2U net prospective gas resources of 12.4 TCF" really means?
Wetwater, Poor management can trump a great resource every time. Recall Ultra Petroleum as a perfect example.
Wetwater, as you said: "Uncle Buck: I really don't care if you think the 'rumor' is legitimate or not - it is in fact a rumor."
Honestly, there are only a handful of people that could claim to have insider access to negotiations between the "rumored" parties, and you claim to be connected and you are trading based on insider information. If that is the reality of your rumor mongering, I suggest you recall Martha Stewart's stay at the Gray Bar Hotel. What I find curious, is your desire to see an increase in share price while you are adding to your position. I would think you would want the exact opposite.

Newto, 1 plus billion shares outstanding is a pretty big hurdle for money guys to gloss over.
newto, the wild card in your road map is whether the .40 Canadian will be from a reverse split. I really think a RS is in the cards, as they need to see $5 per share to get serious money to the table. Optimistically .40 CDN and a 1 for 12 RS.
newto, indeed things are looking more exciting for the Beet and we (including me as a would be shareholder) are looking forward to more data from the drill. The big question, besides flow rates, is how will FOG fare as Origin moves ahead? FOG can only raise money by dilution of the prospect. What will they have to sell in their effort to keep their Origin partnership over the coming couple of years? Your " the future Pilot Production program should start to come together starting in 2023" should be viewed while casting a firm view in the rearview mirror eyeing Origin's past urgency--and more importantly--quality of their personnel on the project. Let's not forget their contest and offered reward of $5000 to anyone that could help them figure out how to proceed in their reservoir understanding and well design. ....
scince, yeah, obviously 2.8 mmcfd ip was the money headline, but, I think the pros are thinking they need more details before they get giddy.
"In Haynesville, the team placed 19 wells to sales with an average lateral length of approximately 9,500 feet.
Among them is an over 13,000-foot lateral, which is currently producing in line with expectations at greater than 40 million cubic feet per day from the middle Bossier interval which highlights the strength of our stacked pay position in the Haynesville. Operational execution and cycle times in the Haynesville continue to improve. "
Camelot, POQ is the wrong guy to run oil exploration company. But, we are stuck with him. I would suggest that his schedule isn't so full that he couldn't find time to knock on doors with keys to our data room in hand and point out how FOG owns the Mako, which is either full of gas or full of steam--either one would be a very valuable commodity in Europe right now. Remember the massive flares in the Mako?
Camelot. If you want good sensational promotion, hope Origin, Santos, Empire Tambo drill one good well that proves the Beetaloo concession. That is all it will take.
Longknife,
I wonder if the $50 million is for environmental study and public outreach..... And, I hope Origin is deep enough in human resource middle management that they can shuffle some off to run the pilot project without impacting their inclusive LBGTQ inclusivity efforts.
Longknife, they will have to go to the trough for more funding, which I would expect would be around an extended welltest (if that is within the next 9 months). Perhaps a reverse split and a bought deal. I don't know how it will all play out, but since they won't have any income for at least 5 years, I don't think I would be happy with however they structure it.
INPEX is looking towards 2050

And, contrary to the clown show Origin has been running in the Beetaloo, drilling technology is constantly advancing, bring down costs and increasing flow rates. https://oilgasleads.com/technology-and-innovation-efficiency-gains-for-conocophillips/
Interest in the ammonia-hydrogen connection is growing. Mitsubishi recently concluded a deal to buy ammonia from Saudi Arabia for use as a no-carbon fuel in power plants, the only pollutant being nitrous oxide, which power plants are equipped to handle.
"Japan's largest electric utility, JERA, plans to burn ammonia as a clean fuel at its coal power stations," Prisco said. "This is just for a quick energy transition. In the future, Japan plans to use high-efficiency ammonia turbines or fuel cells."
Just a few things to factor in.
