Gla but I be amazed if we don't get a profit warning soon. I just can't see how they can hit the profit they have said. I have done some reading while away and they are selling there virtual network in Ireland . Then it came to me, there deals are stronger than ever on there own network in the uk. Never have been , are they going to try and spin this off. Who knows but finance bloke going and retail is down apart from food really. No director buys at 1.50 never mind 2.00 they are nervous times. Hope it works out well for you all just be careful. Missed you all

Good news Andrew Harrison has come back into the fold at least someone now knows how to run cpw.

Twonko well done and good luck. Xmas trading statement will be massive for the company and share price. Bumpy roads ahead shops don't seem busy let's hope online picking up the slack if you have shares in it.

Nothing but opinions, I may be totally wrong and I wish you all the best. Too many bullish comments for me recently but something doesn't sound right. Don't forget they have also got the 10 million giveaway on, not a million pound giveaway but 10 that strikes as desperately trying to keep market share and paying people to shop with them. I hope it keeps rising as in Jan I will be betting it will fall back big time when Xmas results come out.

I know what some of you are saying and I can agree with it. I think the recent results was just spin. Yes we have problems but we haven't worked out how to fix it yet. Closing shops? I would go to far to say the cpw model is at best breaking even. 1000 shops selling 4.5 million phones and breaking even. Don't forget right now you have had 3 massive Samsung launches and the I phone 8 launch in them figures. OK not the x model but it's not going to be a massive seller due to the price. If they close shops say 25% of them and lose 20% sales would the other shops pick that slack up? Course not, so if they lost 5% plus I would say they would then miss all the network bonus targets. Gla, but I think we just got spin the other day. Ps I hope it keeps rising as in Jan I will bet against the price. Last one if they had a great plan why no director big buys

UK profit last half year was 130 million This year 34 million. Fall of 70% I would say a large chunk but I couldn't find it anywhere as well

I do think online will be doing OK but that's why the model needs to change too many stores. Also agree more customers deal with networks than ever before. They will definitely be desperate to keep market share right now incase a network pulls out, hence all the deals they are offering and the 10 million giveaway, has that worked. Gla plenty of questions, it wouldn't surprise me if they try and paint a rosie picture we will find out soon

It's not the profits that worry me it the long term future of the model, it's not sustainable it's how they cope with this. Black Friday sales may be strong but ask your local store since then? I did yesterday, worst Xmas ever up to now. Does black Friday bring additional customers ? Or the same customers buying cheaper. It's the cpw model that's under threat sell lots of phones cheap hit the large network bonuses as soon as they miss that it's trouble. The hierarchy who made cpw are no longer there they have departed can the team who are in place turn it around, hopefully we will find out in 24 hours.

If it's that bad I seriously worry, hopefully not. It puts the whole model on the line if its that bad it can't be surely.

This share pricw always goes up before results day then when results come out drops back. Hopefully not this time!!! I don't know who wrote the times article but if his analysis of the company is based on people listen to music and will always want to buy a speaker we are doomed. Where do they get these analysts from 😊

Good to see us move above 150, a lot depends on the interim results like you say. One thing I always notice with this share is the price goes up before results day and then drops on the day . It wil be interesting to see what happens over the next week or two. I went into a store yesterday and asked how black Friday went? Average I was told, not a disaster which is good the only thing that sounded strange, the manager told me his targets this week where much higher than last week hopefully is not an accounting display by them to say in the results we are only slightly behind target then the quarter after hit us with the real results.

Latest report says footfall was down on the high street over black Friday weeked. Not sure if that's important as black Friday is now spread out over the week. The worry is so are the discount's so instead of 2 days sales etc we now get 8 days which will impact the bottom line. The deals have been strong at carp hone which is the weak part of the business right now but have they cut costs as too much and not seen the numbers on the back of it. I have been told sales are down on last year hopefully the Web have picked them up. GLA

The real big one is the network agreement's when are they up for renewal ? Generally I think they get signed every two years I haven't heard anything on this, have they been signed? Re negotiated. The car phone model has always been sell cheap hit these numbers, they are cheaper than the networks but are they hitting these numbers ? As they sell cheaper to hit the numbers through the 10 million giveaway, selling 2nd hand phones in stores etc trying to pull people in. these are things they have never done before, can they pull the numbers in if they don't it's a whole world of trouble it's all about the next 2 months if they can't hit the numbers with these big launches and Xmas etc it be tough going forward

I don't think we will hear anything as they will be desperately clutching at updates themselves. How has s8 launch landed, I phone 8 I phone x launched black Friday etc and Xmas. Tells me they are searching for good news etc

Just seen they are doing a 10 million giveaway. Cusrtomers can win cars etc just buy shoppin with cpw. Hope it gets customers buying but does show desperate times
