Last week, I had the privilege of visiting Capita Mumbai and Pune offices, and it was truly inspiring to see the progress being made across multiple areas of the business.

Our shared service centres are run out of India and their growth in capabilities and automation is great to see. Similarly, great to experience how so many utility, retail, financial services, telco customers are being served daily from India. I also had the opportunity to visit our Capita Pension Solutions team (a business that celebrated its 50th birthday last week !). This team is delivering exceptional and growing services for clients !

On the innovation front, it was equally energising to see how quickly we are expanding the digital offerings and tools to support. This includes development and deployment of our GenAI solutions, including AgentSuite and much more. The passion and drive I witnessed from our teams is truly inspiring.

I am confident that with such a dedicated and talented team, we will continue to achieve great things. These visits remind me of the importance of staying connected, continuously improving, and fostering open communication. After all, one never knows where the best ideas or best practices will come from, but we need to make sure that they get surfaced and evaluated.

Thanks to the team for a great visit once again.

It was a pleasure to speak with our partner Salesforce recently about how AI is transforming customer service and experience. 

 

AI is a gamechanger for Capita and for our clients. We are taking a unique approach to AI that combines people, processes, and technology which is enabling us to reimagine business processes at scale, leading to better customer and citizen experiences. 

 

Introducing GenAI in our call centres is a prime example. It’s enhancing customer outcomes while making our agents' jobs more enjoyable and less stressful. During my conversation with Salesforce, I shared that our current agents are enthusiastic about using this technology, and those not yet onboarded can’t wait to join.

 

This is just the beginning. AI is creating huge opportunities for us to drive productivity and efficiencies for clients, improve the working experience of our colleagues, and create better outcomes and experiences for customers and citizens.
