I also see the large buys yesterday after close as a very positive signal. The market also knows now that the FED wont do tamper tapering for a good few years. So, I do not expect bond yields to move up higher but I am not an expert in this field. The 1.4 to 1.9 trillion should be approved by next week. Dollar will drop slightly more after then and if they cannot fulfil the physical silver... then game on. Plus, now china is back we should see PMs move up a bit more.

well my advise to myself is to hold till mid next week and see where the price of silver truly is after the contracts expire and the new ones begin...worth waiting an extra few days. Silver has held pretty well we must all admit that and it moves up fast back to 27.50 to 27.90.

It's good to know the broker target has been increased. Just need PMs to go up by Wed next week. Hopefully HOC should be back up towards 270 if PMs esp silver move up.

well for me it's about debt and the future of the silver price so far HOC has no debt for 1st time in 8 years and that was against the crazy zombie covid virus, so they did well against the odds and for 2021 they will do even better as long as there are no further shut downs and also note that everyone is expecting silver and gold to be much higher in 2021 so it is a great investment at a very low price. IMHO DYOR and not investment advise.

The key thing here is no debt. Cash positive for the 1st time for a while. That has to be positive regardless of hedging. 2021 as long as the mines don't close because of a variant of a variant of another variant which has become a mutant and turning everyone including cats and dogs into zombies lol then 2021 will be a great year. If silver moves to 50$ they won't be selling at 27$ let's just be clear about that

Anyone else notice the massive trades after hours ? I always suspected there might be an attempted acquisition of hoc I now wonder if it will happen anytime soon. If I was a betting guy I would say Fres might be on the lookout for a good miner to add to their depleting resources. Just a guess could be completely wrong.

Very clever of the fraudsters to raise the 10 year bond in order to suppress the price of PM. I suspect the 10year will raise further to push gold and silver down even more. That's their new monkey hammer. Maybe paper dumping is becoming to obvious and boring lol

The major silver ETF's had an inflow of about 80 mio. oz in the past four weeks. On the paper market, 8 times that amount is traded in just one day! #silversqueeze

china opens tonight, they are back from their new year so we might see some buying on the dip. 22nd of Feb is when the 1.9trillion stimulus gets approved. Just have to wait and see how long the banking and crimex mafia can keep the price down.

Tom welcomes Ed Steer to the show, Ed writes a weekly subscriber column on the gold and silver markets. He brings us a bombshell overview of what is happening in the metals market.

Ed explains how tight the silver markets have become and why the Comex is attempting to roll over as many contracts as possible to avoid delivery. They have reduced the fees to rollover contracts to near zero. There is some backwardation in silver for contracts in late 2021, revealing weaknesses in their ability to deliver.

Thousands of traders use the Comex markets, but eight large investment banks control more than half of the paper metals market. These big players are short 412 million ounces of silver, and it’s them versus the world. The thousands of other traders are entirely net-long as they understand this scheme is ending. If these large players were to let silver go, the price would rapidly become a sizeable three-digit number.

He feels these investment banks were caught completely flat-footed by the actions in the market in recent weeks. They have been forced to double down on their shorts to keep the market suppressed. Ed says, “Right now, these guys are fighting for their lives.”

Physical premiums are through the roof if you can even find the metal. The lead times from the mints are growing, and it will be many months before dealers can fully restock. He says, “There is no physical metal to be had…the market is tight everywhere you look.”

If the sleeping giants (aka the industrial users of silver) awaken to what is happening, they will want to buy everything available, making the situation much worse. Those in power are now desperate as these problems could lead to a massive currency crisis worldwide.

He doesn’t believe these banks can cover their shorts, and March deliveries will be very interesting.

Ed cautions, “Things are now in motion that can’t be undone. It’s going to be like the long-term capital management collapse we’re talking trillions, not billions… Hopefully, there is a world left to survive in once this is all over.”
